Pork Belly Burnt Ends

Pork Belly is one of those proteins that is extremely versatile to work with. You can turn it into bacon, make pulled pork, smoke it, fry it and anything in between. One of our favorite ways to use it is to make pork belly burnt ends!

Ingredients

  • 4lb. Pork Belly cut into 1" cubes
  • Yellow Mustard
  • Aight Guys!! Smokey Sweet Rub
  • Lane's BBQ Pineapple Chipotle BBQ Sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat Pellet Smoker to 275 degrees.
  2. Take cubed up pork belly and coat good on all sides with yellow mustard as a binder.
  3. Next season all cubes of pork belly on all sides with my Aight Guys!! Smokey Sweet Rub.
  4. Once seasoned, place pork belly cubes on a wire rack and into your smoker for 2-3 hours or until the bark is set and you get the color you want.
  5. Remove pork belly from smoker, place in a pan and coat good with Lane's BBQ Pineapple Chipotle BBQ Sauce.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and back in the smoker for another hour to an hour and a half. They should be tender to the touch.
  7. Remove from smoker and allow to rest about 20 minutes. At this point, you can leave them as is or you can drizzle them with more of the Pineapple Chipotle BBQ Sauce. I drizzled mine with more.
  8. Time to go in for that bite! Dig in and Enjoy!
