Additional Information

This Rocky® Lightweight Commercial Military Boot offers Rocky's most advanced lightweight features, as well as the durability and performance you need, whether you're involved in combat or competitive operations.

This combat boot is fully complies with DA PAM 670-1 (dated 31 MAR 2014); it's trade-friendly and GSA-approved.

A combination of coyote brown leather and CORDURA® nylon, the Rocky Lightweight (RLW) boot resists water and dries fast. The NATO hooks and speed lace eyelets help you lace your boot quickly, and this lacing system won't cut away at your laces.

This military boot gives you secure and confident footing. The aggressive multi-directional rubber outsole competently grips slippery or tough terrain. The heel and toe tread locks are reinforced with stitching.

And you'll find this is a really comfortable combat boot. Inside, a removable Rocky Air-Portā„¢ insole is molded from long-lasting polyurethane, so it won't break down or lose it's shape. The Air-Port footbed is created to circulate air to your feet each time you take a step.

Additional comfort features include a rubber midsole and a padded collar.

This military boot weighs just 18 ounces. You can be on your feet all day without being weighed down by your footwear. The RLW is 8 inches tall.

For a comfortable and lightweight military boot that performs, buy the RLW.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from My Feet Ache I bought these boots because I wanted a light pair that were cheap and now I'm preparing to purchase a different set of boots because I can't take these boots anymore. I've had them for 3 months now and my opinion of them haven't changed. I've been in for 13 years and have never had a pair of boots make my feet ache like these do. There needs to be more support and cushion. I am surprised to see that I'm the first person to write a negative review and have only gone out of my way to write this to prevent others from making the same bad decision.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Boot after a little modification I'm on my 4th pair of these boots and I love them, but I didn't at first. Rocks seem to be tight in toe box as a general rule, especially on top. To fix this, first always buy the wide version of these boots. Second, throw away the inserts the boots come with an get some Superfeet Carbon inserts. These are the heavy duty low profile inserts made by Superfeet. Next, don't lace the grommets on top of your foot. Google running shoe lacing techniques and look for the "Wide forefoot" pattern to get an idea. I literally have hundreds of miles on my feet under 80+ lbs in these light weight boots have really saved me. I'm here writing this because I'm ordering another pair right now. Also, they drain well, but not well enough. I drill a hole in the side of the toe box to get that last cup of water out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as great as I hoped! I work indoors, however, I walk around a lot. These boots look great and I did think they would be ideal for the area I work in. But to my amazement the issue with these boots are I have normal size ankles so the back of the boot cuts into my ankle when I walk mostly because the top of the boot that closes around the calf is smaller than that of the ankle portion. So once I have laced them up the ankle slack is excessive and the calf portion is cut off and has nowhere to go. The calf or top of the boot area is too small and the ankle is too wide. Outside of that these boots look great. I wouldn’t change anything else about the boot. The boot does feel a little stiff but I’ve only been in them for a week. I am trying to lace them different to see if that works, if not I guess I will get another pair of boots.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No-Go Boots I have brought the two pairs of the C4T, and two pairs of the S2V boots. Those are great boots. The Rocky Lightweight Commercial Military Boots are the worse pair of boots I have ever purchased. The middle seams rubbed against my feet, the boots provide no stability like the S2Vs, felt floppy, and boxy. I had to change to another pair of boots at midday, because of the pain they caused. I recommend going with the S2V boots, instead of these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible boot I have had these boots for less than two and a half months and the sole is already starting to separate. They are a pain to keep clean. I can't use all the eyelets and and even when I skip one my feet still kill me when I am wearing them. These boots may be lighter than issued boots but they aren't that lightweight. I am truly upset that I spent money on this pair of boots.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from garbage wore these about 2 months, they never broke in felt like i had bricks tied to my feet, and calling them "light weight" is wrong they just as heavy on your foot as the S2Vs just the S2Vs were amazingly comfortable, also the tongue is just a flemsy piece of leather or suede and after a week or so the eyelets had rubbed holes in thru the tongue, i honesty cut my lose and sold them for $20 and we t back to my old C5s, id rather be outta regs than wear these things

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Boots for the Modern Soldier They are within uniform regulations and are available in many sizes. The boots are lighter than the standard issue boots and are much more comfortable. I feel like I can go out for a ruck march at anytime with these boots. Wearing the uniform, you find yourself at different places wherever your country needs you. I'm willing to bet these boots will allow me to be where my country needs me with ease.
