Rocky TrailBlade - Static Dissipative Comp Toe Ox
For generations, men have gone to work wearing footwear that resembles their father’s work boots; they are big, bulky and have a lackluster design. Don’t underestimate the amount of protection that you’ll receive from this TrailBlade because of its size. This footwear is compliant with the ASTM F2413-05 Static Dissipative Standard; it helps to diminish the static electricity that your body gathers, which will protect you against getting shocked. Another advantageous feature is the footwear’s composite toe; it’s lightweight, completely non-metallic and has met the ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 Protective Toe Classification which means it can withstand up to 75 lbs. of impact and compression.
Within the interior, there is an EVA footbed; each time you take a step throughout the day, you will receive cushioning that feels outstandingly comfortable. FYI: You mustn’t insert anything other than a SD footbed. If you do, it will actually prevent static electricity from coursing through the footbed and this TrailBlade will not be able to diminish the static electricity that your body is accruing.
On the bottom, the outsole has been made from a combination of rubber and EVA; besides for having great durability, this outsole delivers slip and oil resistance.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to ASTM F2413-05. -
