Additional Information

The Rocky® S2V GORE-TEX® Waterproof Insulated Tactical Military Boot was designed for the hardworking heroes who keep our country running well. It's tough enough to survive military challenges and practical enough to please an array of varying wearers. It's Uniform Compliant (AR 670-1), GSA-approved and Berry-Compliant, a made-in-America men's shoe worth attention and appreciation.

Resilience is undeniable in this tough work boot. Waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® construction offers sturdy support sure to last arduous circumstances, while triple-stitched flash- and water-resistant leather demonstrates the durability demanded by your everyday experiences. You can work with the courage and confidence required for success, certain that your shoe will withstand the challenges you face.

Comfort is essential to a job well done. Rocky included a hefty 400 grams of 3M™ Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation in this superior tactical boot, so you can enjoy comfort in less accommodating conditions. Take advantage of the exceptional support provided by proprietary high-walled Vibram soles which are stitched to the upper, a rare and remarkable component designed with distinct difficulties in mind. Rocky works to enhance safety without sacrificing mobility. A lightweight, fiberglass shank in this thoughtfully crafted military boot relieves your foot of ache-inducing impact without interfering with your alacrity.

Rocky is here safeguard you as you work to safeguard others. This men's shoe is PTFE coated for flame-resistance. Roll-Stop Ankle Stability™ technology keeps your stride secured, reducing risk of injury and returning your concentration to the tasks at hand. A Wicking Dri-Lex lining eliminates moisture from your hardworking feet, and a Lycra Tongue adds cushioned comfort and ease to entering and exiting this boot.

If you're searching for a boot to empower and protect every step, the Rocky® S2V GORE-TEX® Waterproof Insulated Tactical Military Boot is for you.

Rocky S2V GORE-TEX® Waterproof 400G Insulated Tactical Military Boot is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Comfortable and Warm! I bought a pair of these boots last year to keep my feet warm and dry working outdoors full time in Michigan winter. With winter rapidly approaching this year along with the cold fall we have had so far, I decided to dig them out of my closet. Putting them on for the first time this season reminded me of how comfortable and warm they are. I also wear a US size 15 shoe and was happy to find the boot size 14R accommodate my large feet perfectly. I am extremely happy with my boot purchase and will be looking for another pair once mine are at the end of their service life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Review for the boot, not the experience Just took delivery, after a huge amount of (wasted) time checking on the fit. I noticed on a site that showed a box of these boots that the size 7US was a size 6 UK. I am from the UK and buy a 6 1/2 (usually). After checking the size chart and confirming that the size chart was right and that a 7 would indeed be a 6 1/2 UK I went with the 7. Turns out the box is also a size 6 UK, so a half size too small. I have taken the insole out and replaced it with one from a running shoe and now it fits perfectly. I am still not sure if I sent them back whether I should get the 1/2 size bigger or same size but in a wide fitting. With the liner they fit tight, not short. I am going to rate it as fitting slightly small, not really knowing if I need the aforementioned sizing to make them perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome!!! I was looking for a new pair of boots for hunting. After some shopping around I figured the S2V to be my best choice for the unforgiving southern Arizona terrain. At first glance they do not look like combat boots. I wanted something tough enough to handle the worst situation. We don't climb into treestands along side a cornfield here. Steep, rough, and full of cactus. I chose the insulated version rather than the standard, since there is no water to walk through and I prefer no drain or vents, the insulated version will keep out the stickers. They have good ankle support and I love the quick lace feature. I do wish the sole wrapped up and around more, but other than that I have no complaints. They do require some breaking in to stop the squeaking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've spent thousands looking for my favorite boots I haven't had a pair of boots that I've loved this much in 20 years when I was in the military. They're warm, they're comfortable and yeah they're expensive, but you know what my feet are worth it. These boots are by far the best that I've ever just tried on and loved from the get go. And I've bought boots from other countries...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable! Very supportive! Comfortable and supportive. And anti-ankle roll device for walking on rough terrain. Very good high quality boots, made in the U.S.A. Waterproof and insulated. The lacing hooks do not break when I pull the laces tight. A good design all around.
