 The lightweight and flexible Rocky TrailStalker duty / hiker oxford has a full toe, a wider vamp, and a hard toe wall to give your feet a snug fit. If an athletic inspired fit is what you have been searching for, these are the features that you will be pleased with. You’ve probably already reviewed the picture and clicked on the ‘View Larger Image’ tab. Yet when you don’t have the footwear directly in front of you, or holding it in your hands, you become curious about what the shoe is made from. The Rocky TrailStalker’s upper has been built with a lightweight combination of black spacer mesh and black oiled suede. Although this is a oxford and it’s a great shoe to wear to work; the look of the shoe is so appealing and versatile that you can walk around in them before and after work or even on the weekends - Hiking and beyond!  Regular shoes repeatedly get scrapped up, after a while you get tired of the look and throw them away. This is not very cost effective. To be able to easily maintain the look of your Rocky TrailStalker Duty Oxford shoes -without you having to do anything- Rocky has enhanced the shoes by including abrasion resistant wear protection. This has been placed over the toe and forepart of the shoe. This protection will retain your great looking duty oxford. When you are working, they last thing you want to worry about (or deal with) is getting wet feet. For this reason, a knit quarter lining -that is moisture-wicking and breathable- has been inserted and it will work with the waterproof Gore-Tex® membrane. What else don’t you want to deal with when you’re working? Most likely, one item on that list would be getting dirt and rocks down into your shoe. If you’re busy, the last thing you want to do is stop numerous times and empty out your shoe(s). After this happens so many times, you just end up walking around with items that are pinching, rolling around, or scratching your feet. To save you from this unpleasant experience, a double padded mesh collar lining with a fully gussed tongue has been inserted to prevent this from happening in the first place. For comfort, an Ortholite® footbed and EVA midsole have been added to the Rocky TrailStalker oxford. A firmer heel was designed on this #1871 duty oxford to provide more impact absorption and stability. For additional stability, the outsole has a flat sidewall. As mentioned earlier in the text these Rocky TrailStalker oxford shoes provide maximum flexibility, but how? This is possible because we’ve crafted this shoe with a rubber –skeletal molded- outsole, which leaves recessed EVA exposed on the bottom of the shoe. The tread on the #1871 Rocky TrailStalker shoes are not overly aggressive, and are self-cleaning.
