Splendidly smooth full-grain leather was used to form the upper of this 12" Rocky HandHewn Western boot; while it looks remarkable, you will be astounded by the durability of this material. The dark, almost charcoal-like shade, is dazzling and really allows the detailed stitching to stand out. Black piping frames the dipped topline and runs down the sides of these women's boots beautifully. A snip toe looks spectacular from all viewpoints and adds a bit of sassiness to the footwear.
One of the greatest aspects about wearing these Western boots is that they are remarkably easy to get on/off. This can be attributed back to having an Expansion Fit Seam™ - the seam will actually expand as you are trying to slide your ankle down into or out of these boots - and unbelievably sturdy pull straps. A tempered steel shank has been constructed into the base of these Rocky HandHewn boots; it allows you to maintain fantastically steady footing and delivers arch support that feels simply marvelous. The outsole was made out of genuine leather; it has been hand pegged, has an exceptional-looking appearance and is particularly durable. A low, dark-brown heel is the finishing touch, but having this allows you to walk comfortably throughout the day.
