Additional Information

If you want duty boots with toe protection and comfort, get Rocky® S2V Composite Toe Tactical Military Boots.

These boots are uniform-compliant (AR 670-1) and American made, so they're Berry-compliant as well.

For an added element of protection, Rocky gave these military boots a composite toe. The composite toes meet ASTM standards for impact and compression, but don't weigh as much as steel toes.Your feet are protected from falling objects, but your every step isn't weighed down by steel. As you know, for long treks or patrolling an area, you don't want to carry unnecessary weight.

An upper that's both flash-resistant and water-resistant is a bonus. For flame-resistance, you get a PTFE coating, and drainage vents release water from the boots with each footfall.

Whether walking or standing, you'll be doing it on a Vibram® outsole designed to be flexible, comfortable and durable.

Comfort isn't overlooked in these tactical boots. In addition to drainage ports and Vibram, Rocky designed the boots with a Dri-Lex lining that wicks away moisture for conditions where your feet are likely to sweat. The Aegis Microbe Shield keeps microbes from getting a foothold. The Rocky Air-Portā„¢ footbed is molded from durable polyurethane. It won't lose its shape or break down, and it circulates air to your feet as you walk. A final element of comfort comes from the LYCRA® tongue that comfortably moves with your foot.

These eight-inch, desert tan boots are designed to perform, to support your mission. For the best duty boots, you want Rocky S2V boots.

    Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
    Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.

Rocky S2V Composite Toe Tactical Military Boot is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed.. I'm on day seven (7) of wearing these boots. I wear them 10 hours a day on concrete surfaces in a warehouse. They seem to be holding up just fine, and I love the fact that they "breathe" and my feet don't end up so sweaty by the end of the day. Overall comfort is great in my RIGHT boot, however, my left boot is almost unwearable. Down towards the heal in my achilles tendon area, there is some rigid stitching that just won't break in, and at this point (7 days into it) I'm not certain that it will. I have resorted to moleskin and thick adhesive pads for the last two days, and it doesn't seem to work. I'm hoping that in another week this will all be behind me. Is there anyone else out there experiencing the same or similar thing? ROCKY BOOTS help me! What can I do?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boot The only problem I have experienced is a rubbing on my Achilles - more from my left boot - this could very well be to one foot being larger than another which is very common. After about three weeks my right rubbing has gone away and i still have a little on my left. I feel that as this boot breaks in even more this will also go away. I have placed a simple bandaid on my left Achilles which helps the rubbing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from COMFORTABLE! This is the 2nd pair I have owned. Hardly any break in time and they are by far the most comfortable work boots I have ever owned. They are nice and light with the composite toe rather than the steel toe. The only negative I can say about them is that the sole is not oil resistant and they don't offer a defined heel. Other than that, you cannot go wrong with these boots! 100% recommendation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boot I have been wearing these boots for about 7 months now and they have been holding up fairly well. I work in many factories, temperatures and environments. They are very breathable and keep my feet dry all day. The only complaint I have is that after about 5 months of wearing them they started to squeak when I walk. This can be very annoying when walking in quiet office areas.
