Additional Information

The Rocky® Elements of Service Duty Boot has an athletic hiker style and an aggressive outsole to help you take on the day.

When traction is a priority, this is the men's duty boot you want. Rocky gave it a rugged EVA/rubber sole that grips slippery surfaces and uneven terrain. If you have to move quickly, this hiker will give you that edge.

The men's black boot is made of light and flexible cement construction so you can comfortably bend and move, and it doesn't weigh you down. To reinforce the boot where it takes the most wear, Rocky added toe and toe guards that resist abrasions.

For a comfortable fit, a nylon shank gives you arch support. A mesh lining circulates air to your feet. There's also a polyurethane footbed.

This is a non-metallic boot, and at five inches tall, it's the height of a hiking boot.

For a men's boot with athletic styling, get this Rocky Boots®.

Constructed using no metal material or parts. Perfect for working environments that require passing through metal detectors.

Rocky Elements of Service Duty Boot is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as comfortable as other reviews state. I bought this based off of the reviews I read and I am very disappointed in the shoes. They are made good but the comfort is no wear near what is stated. I will not be buying another pair of these shoes again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent boot I bought this pair of boots for work of course. Very comfortable to wear and as light as a tennis shoe. More mobile than a heavier boot when I need to run/jog somewhere. Unfortunately however, I cannot wear these for work any longer after it was brought to my attention that the boots are not within the rules and regs guidelines. However. I will be using this pair of boots for when I go hiking. I would definitely recommend this pair of boots to anyone whom is allowed to wear them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected These boots are very comfortable. I thought they would be a little bit wider though. Feels like I am wearing a wrestling shoe. I work for sanitation in nyc and I can tell they will not hold up for more than a month or two.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little tight, but good quality I bought this about a month ago, and I've been satisfied overall. They're very comfortable, and the break in period was less than a week. The one thing that I will say is that they're very tight. I by no means have a wide foot, but the sides of the forefoot rub a considerable amount in these shoes, and I find myself in pain after about 8 hours of continuous wear. The arch and heel support is very good, but it certainly "hugs" the forefoot too much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort and durability Retired Marine infantry officer.... volunteer at local food bank and needed lightweight boot with minimum breakin time... asked neighborhood postal carrier (he should know)..... result was this boot... good choice.. shock absorbing construction along with ankle stability and protection.... for $90 the military should buy these off the shelf.
