Additional Information

The uppers of these Rocky® S2V boots are strong leather (it's resistant to both water and flash), breathable, yet hard-wearing, Cordura® (resists abrasions like no other) with well-fitting Lycra® tongue. PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) has been applied to the footwear to provide additional flame resistance. This combination of materials allows these Berry-compliant boots to fit comfortably and be highly durable.

Since heavy objects could plummet unexpectedly, or you could be walking in hazardous areas, these steel toe boots meet the ASTM Protective Toe standards. (The toes are able to endure up to 75 lbs. of impact and compression.) The boots also meet ASTM standards for electrical hazard.

A Dri-Lex® lining provides comfort and wicks away perspiration. Utilizing cutting-edge S2V Sieve™ technology, these boots disperse of water rapidly (better than the usual drain plugs), are breathable and circulate air to keep your feet feeling cool and dry. A Rocky Air-Port™ cushion footbed gives you a comfortable step, as the Aegis Microbe Shield® helps fight bacteria, odor and fungus.

You'll have steady footing and arch support due to the fiberglass shank of these S2V boots. The high-walled Vibram® outsole is durable (allows it to last), is lightweight and resists abrasions. Roll-Stop Ankle Stability™ ensures the structure is sturdy and it helps prevent your ankles from rolling inside your boots.

They're made in the USA with top-quality materials, have a protective toe, provide extreme comfort and unparalleled durability. There's no better choice for you than these Rocky S2V Steel Toe Boots.

    Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
    Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.

Rocky S2V Steel Toe Tactical Military Boot is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 56.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great boots until sole comes off I have had these boots for 1 year and 2 months. The wide size is still a little on the narrow side. I work in construction mostly running heavy equipment so about 50%of the time I am not on my feet. Last week I noticed the sole was separating from the upper material, now they are completely useless as I can stick my finger straight through to the inside. I find this to be unacceptable that they lasted barely over a year, especially for a $200 pair of boots that still have plenty of tread on the soles.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Seam Came Undone Along the Outside I bought this pair boots around the beginning of October, 2017 (around six months ago). I have worn them in my workshop, while doing yard work, and just daily wear around town. But, recently, a seam has come unraveled along the outside of my left boot. The vertical seam right next to the ankle. If I were to wear them anymore I'm afraid the boot would just fall apart entirely. Keep in mind that I have only put moderate use into them, nothing too taxing as I work in a woodshop. Outside of this, my only other complaint would be a couple of partings around the sole (glue coming undone). That can be easily fixed, this however, cannot. They have been a very comfortable and good fitting pair boot until these things happened.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best boot yet. I've been working in the construction trades for over 25 years now. I've tried dozens of different boots and this one by far is the best. The foot, ankle and associated leg pain is now gone. No blisters or pinch points right out of the box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wear Test Complete I don’t like to review things straight out of the box because you have to break footwear like this in. It might take your feet some getting used to them, but now that I’ve had these boots for over 6 months they’re ready for my verdict. Easily the best pair of boots I’ve ever owned. Very lightweight and extremely comfortable. I have custom orthotics and they slide right in. As long as I wear this uniform, these will be my go-to boots, even if I have to come out of my own pocket again. Easily worth the purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Highly Dissapointed, caused minor injury I bought these boots a while ago and wanted to give them some time before I created a review. First off, the boots are nice, well made and seem to handle the abuse with ease. If there was not one blaring issue with them I would highly recommend. However, DO NOT BUY! I am yet again on the search for the perfect steel-toe boot. What's my problem with them? Simple... The right boot has a seam stitched inside just above the heal across the Achilles tendon. This stitching is rough, sharp and over time has cut/ worn a nasty hole in the back of my foot at the Achilles tendon area. I have taped the inside of the boot, tried taping my foot, and constantly have to wear Band-Aids to prevent further injury and make the boot wearable. I work offshore and spend countless hours walking around, standing, stooping, and climbing. About once every six hours I must stop and fix the inside, re-tape etc… In my research I did run across others with this same issue. I figured I would take the chance and thought even if I get a bad one my feet could handle. I was sorely mistaken! Highly disappointed at $240 price tag with this issue. I will say though, the left boot is perfect, for some reason it does not have the same stitching issue. If both boots were like the left, 5 stars easy. Take the chance if you want, I recommend buying from a store so you can check them out first.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boots These are very nice boots. They look great with my military uniform. I would rave about how comfortable they are, except that the left boot is not comfortable. The plastic/hard lining inside the fabric rubs up against my ankle. I was/ hoping this goes away as I break them in, but after a few weeks the issue has only slightly abated. I don't have this issue with the right boot. So, the boots are very comfortable, minus the issue I mentioned with the left boot... Otherwise, a solid product.
