Additional Information

Wear a cowboy boot for your work boot with the Rocky® Original Ride Composite Toe Waterproof Insulated Western Boot.

This men's boot is a composite toe boot that meets ASTM standards for impact and compression. It also is electrical hazard resistant. For on-the-job foot protection, this Rocky boot is a great choice.

You have to work in a variety of weather conditions, so your boots have to perform. Sometimes a regular pair of cowboy boots looks good, but just can't withstand the conditions. Don't give up wearing a cowboy boot; wear this Rocky western work boot. This is a waterproof boot that comes with a guarantee to keep your feet dry. It's also an insulated boot with 400 grams of 3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation to keep your feet warm.

This is a full-grain leather boot in dark brown and tan with a square toe. It's a durable, well-made boot with double-row welt stitching and durable all-around welt construction. Your boot is going to stay together for the long haul.

If you want to work in your western boot, but need a tough boot that can help you get the job done, get this western work boot from Rocky Boots!

    Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
    Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
    Insulated
Traditional insulation - typically felt or polyfill material offers a thermal barrier without the added benefits of premium insulations.
    Rocky® Waterproof
Rocky® Waterproof construction insures the highest level of waterproof protection while maintaining breathability.
    Waterproof
This product is built with quality waterproofing materials to keep you dry in wet environments.

Rocky Original Ride Composite Toe Waterproof 400G Insulated Western Boot is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks Good Yes, I agree with the other reviews. This boot needs a more aggressive sole, especially in colder climates. I live and work in North Pole Alaska. I've only had these boots for two weeks and I think I made a mistake. Temperatures are now in single digits and the soles are hard as a rock. Currently the Thinsulate insulation at 400 grams seems to be good. However, once temps get colder than 15 below zero I'll definitely use another boot. Perhaps this might be a good boot for other locations. I would not recommend this boot as a winter safety boot for COLD climates.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from More aggressive sole Like the first review, said. this boot is great, with the stitching all the way through the sole. But the sole could be more aggressive, if it's going on be a insulated work boot. I have a pair of FQ0002867. 200 gram boots and the sole is awesome aggressive, and has lots of traction, just change the sole to that, sole. and u will have a really good 5 star work boot that's a promise, I will give a 4 star. and not a five star because, the sole is not aggressive , enough for a winter work boot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not enough traction I work in the industrial industry I'll make a long story short, common sense,! If your going to make a insulated saftey work boot, make a more aggressive outsole. for more slippery surfaces, cold weather like. Hence"! The insulation. to keep your feet warm, not like ice skates like the soles in them now. Other then that they are great boots. And stitch all the way through the sole like your ironclade lace up boots they last a lot longer.
