Additional Information

Rocky® Broadhead Waterproof Insulated Outdoor Boots are designed for the intense hunter, especially the bow hunter who walks farther, stays longer, and wants lightweight boots.

Broadhead hunting boots are waterproof outdoor boots. Rocky guarantees that they keep your feet dry as you walk through mud, over soggy ground and among wet leaves.

And if you're walking, you want to walk comfortably. The Broadhead is designed as a men's comfortable boot with an EVA midsole and a special, lightweight aggressive rubber skin outsole.

Despite the great tread and grip on this outsole, this boot is 33 percent lighter than the average hunting boot. That's important if you're going to walk the extra mile after your prey; you don't want bulky boots. These lightweight boots also help you move easier, more quickly shifting direction and making less noise than you would in heavy, cumbersome boots.

The boot upper is made of ripstop nylon to stand up to underbrush. This features a Realtree Xtra® camo pattern that helps you blend well with your surroundings. You definitely want camouflage hunting boots.

Additional performance comes from the interior features of these outdoor boots. The moisture management lining does exactly as it implies; it manages moisture to help prevent your feet from sweating. It's a good feature to have because your feet will stay warm during those long hours of hunting. These are insulated hunting boots with an extra-warm 800 grams of 3M&trade Thinsulate&trade Insulation.

Get the Broadhead: it promises to go the distance with even the most dedicated of bow hunters.

Rocky Broadhead Waterproof 800G Insulated Outdoor Boot is rated 2.6 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, lightweight boot These boots are the lightweight structure I was hunting along with offering ample insulation (800g). They are not, however, very comfortable. They seem to bind and dig into my foot while walking up and down ridges. A quality boot seperates itself from the competition in areas such as comfort and durability in extreme conditions, which is why I chose to spend the extra money on rocky brand. Very disappointed and will search competitors in the future. Also, these boots don't have the speedy lace up things (sorry for lack of technical terms) making lacing up and f getting them off difficult.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible durability Before I purchased these I read the reviews and compared these to many. The first few times I wore them I loved them! But shortly there after is when they fell apart. The boots are now 3 months old and have holes big enough to put fingers in on the front. The material does not hold up well to active hunting. If you are a stand hunter that walks only groomed trails then they will probably work great, but one vine is all it takes to rip a hole in these cheaply made hunting boots! Rocky you let me down

Rated 3 out of 5 by from what's that smell I originally purchased this boot in 800g thinsulate and loved them so much I bought another pair in 400 g. These boots are light and waterproof and are as comfortable out of the box as any boot i've ever purchased. Used the 400g ones in spring gobbler season and pretty soon my house smells moldy and I can't figure out why. I'm thinking the toilet is leaking into the floor or something. Turns out it's these boots, actually just the right one, and it really smells. I don't know if there's some foreign material in the construction (chinese guy joke) from the factory or what but they're really smelly. Don't know what the solution is going to write to Rocky

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Comfortable I just purchased a pair of these boots and they are as advertised. Extremely comfortable and lightweight. I received them on a Thursday evening and Friday morning I was out in the woods walking through mud and streams; no break-in was required and my feet stayed dry and comfortable. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Light, warm, comfortable, stinky and slippery I bought these in mid-September. Within a week, 3-4 of the plastic eyelets had pulled out and by the end of deer season 4-5 more had. Also, the leather eyelet had ripped in one spot. However, extremely light weight and comfortable. Kept my feet surprisingly warm, but the boots tended to trap sweat and, subsequently, foot odor. The tread pattern looks cool, but doesn't have enough "depth" for muddy conditions.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great but only lasted one season This boot is very comfortable and went through water occasionally and never got wet however only lasted about one deer and turkey season. Fabric on side of boot frayed and fell apart. hope they improve on outer material would definitely buy another pair but not with the material it's made with now. Price too high to last only one season.
