Rated 5 out of 5 by from GET SERIOUS ABOUT WET WEATHER! YOUR FEET ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF YOUR BODY TO KEEP DRY WHEN YOU ARE ENGAGED IN OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES! I own a valet parking business just north of San Francico. It can rain buckets out here at times, so I have furnished my entire crew w/ Rocky GORE-TEX Waterproof socks. When your feet are warm & dry you tend to make better decisions then when your feet are cold and wet!!! This sock is well worth the price and they fit over your regular socks, so order them a size or two larger than your shoe size. CAUTION: as the seams of the socks are sealed put these socks on slowly and carefully so you do not stress the seams!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have the 11" sock for 20 plus years and still going strong. Great for ice fishing but most of all they pass the test at 18 below hunting northern Maine. Cannot speak more highly of this purchase. Looking to get 13" for both me and my son. You can't go wrong with this item. Worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent These are my second pair of Rocky socks. The first lasted me more than 10 years. I used them every time it rained, when bike commuting. I think the breathability declined near the end, but it is really hard to complain considering they gave me 6 seasons of particularly hard use when cycling and my feet always stayed dry. The only reason I replaced them is that I lost the original pair. The new ones look even tougher with the more durable nylon wrapping more thoroughly around the foot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than Gortex Boots! I usually wear size 10 and am using size 11 sock. It fits snug with a thick sock. I have given up on finding a good waterproof shoe. Any shoe will become saturated when in extreme use. It’s better to have footwear that breathes and drys quickly and keep the waterproof layer as close to your skin as possible. I wore these socks with some breathable boots in a rainstorm. I hiked 14 miles and had the boots totally filled with water multiple times. My feet and socks stayed bone dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hard to ride without them I have used these for he last few years of riding. I wear mesh toe tennis shoes when riding long distance and with these I do not have to worry about my feet being hot when not raining and they always stay dry when it is raining. I have over 150,000 miles on my first pair and now for the life of me cannot find one of them. I ordered two more pair just to have an extra. Downright comfortable, dry and leaves plenty of room for toe warmers if you get into colder weather. A must have for anyone that rides in wet conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from mail carrier These r absolutely awesome!! I've worn all day as the rain poured down & feet have never gotten wet. Thin. . Fit in my regular tennis shoes. Plus, they keep my feet warm. Bought with work allotment. Looking for hubby some. ..he wants some also! !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flimsy construction, very poor customer service I can't recommend these. At $60 they broke the first time I put them on. The seam between the goretex and the top stretchy band broke in a couple of place. Over the few times I've used them the Sean had progressively come apart. Warranty repair was declined by Rocky. Try something else.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from They changed the design! My brother brought me a pair of these close to 20 years ago. Best waterproof sock I had. The tops finally started to fray so I ordered a new pair. In the photo the old sock is on the right the new design is on the left. The amount of "stretchy" material up front has been greatly reduced. My size 12 now barely fits over a sock and the top of the sock feels like a tourniquet around my calf. I'm 5'10 230 lbs 46 years old. I've put on 15lbs since my originals almost 20 years ago, but for a sock designed to fit over another sock. There is not enough "play" in getting them over the sock and taking these off is a real chore. I can see that the quality is still there. I would not doubt these would last just as long. I just don't know if I'm willing to put up with the squeeze box to keep my feet dry.
