The Long Range Leather™ on this Rocky #8896 boot combines the durability of full-grain leather with a weathered appearance that already looks and feels "broken-in." The shaft has been made with rugged yet lightweight, 900 denier ballistic nylon that is covered with a Realtree® AP™ camo print.
It has been made with a traditional round toe last for comfort. A double row welt stitch frames the round toe.
Rocky has made this #8896 boot with durable Goodyear Welt Construction to assure that this boot has longevity and shape retention. By having this stitched construction, as time passes by you’ll begin to notice that your boot has molded to the shape of your foot.
This Rocky Long Range boot has traditional leather pull-tabs –the leather matches the fabric on the foot- and Rocky’s exclusive, hidden Expansion Fit Seam™, which makes these boots exceptionally easy to get on/off.
While it’s great that this is a nice looking and durable boot; it also has the necessary features to keep you dry and downright comfortable. The Dri-Lex Eco™ lining has moisture management features to wick perspiration away from the inside of your boot. While, the guaranteed Rocky waterproof construction works to keep the rest of you dry.
Since this is an outdoor boot, the lug depth is built with an aggressive 6mm. It is made for all-terrain traction, and the best part is that they are designed to be self cleaning.
