In your line of work, you need to be wearing footwear that won’t slow you down. This Rocky 1st Med hiker is non-metallic, so it’s scanner friendly – no delays.
The black upper is made from mid-weight, soft, full-grain genuine leather with rugged and lightweight 900 denier Cordura® panels. The athletic-inspired styling looks great, and the recessed laces are practical.
The hiker height has been constructed to be just high enough to offer you protection and ankle support, but you will not find it to be constricting.
If your adrenaline starts rushing as you deal with an intense situation, it is only natural that your body may begin to perspire. The padded collar is lined with soft, breathable spacer mesh. The quarter is lined with Cosmo™ woven mesh for moisture management. These features are in place to keep you cool and comfortable.
There’s a TPU external skeletal brace that helps support your ankles and also fits snug in the heel of the boot to give you good torsional stability and maneuverability. Plus, in this Rocky 1st Med hiker there is a molded heel protector to protect from abrasion
