These trekkers have Rocky® Hydro IQ™ which is vital to experiencing nature in harsh conditions. Hydro IQ is a watertight structure that prevents moisture from seeping through the fabric, but still offers you optimal breathability. Run or trek where you like, these are waterproof shoes.
You'll have sure footing on and off the trail with outsoles that feature a Vibram® compression molded trek rubber compound. This trekker has a proprietary wave underlay texture for element traction and shedding.
Ready for the special safety feature? These shoes have a fuchsia footbed. Why is fuchsia an important color? Fuchsia is a color that can easily be spotted in nature. If you're lost or in distress in the wilderness, you can remove this fuchsia footbed and wave it in the air or otherwise display it in order to signal that you need help or signal search and rescue personnel who might be looking for you.
When it comes to hiking or running in these trail shoes, additional performance comes from the TPU stability shank that provides support, and as the name indicates, stability for your run or hike. A rubber enhanced toe wrap and an extended back guard help this extreme sneaker resist abrasions and scuffs while on or off the trail. That also helps your shoe last longer and continue to look good.
If you're going to go all out in these shoes, they have to keep up with comfort. These men's running shoes have lightweight and flexible EVA midsoles. An antimicrobial open-cell foam with perforated forefront vents let air circulate to your feet. Moisture-wicking lining helps guard against sweating. The LYCRA® collar and stretch lining assure a snug fit so your shoe stays in place and doesn't slip while you run, walk or hike.
Another survivalist feature! Rocky topped off these black trail running shoes with pops of cool neon yellow and military-grade 550 paracord laces. These quick-drying nylon laces have a minimum 550-pound breaking strength and hundreds of survival applications.
