This Rocky Long Range boot’s upper is made of deep brown premium, full-grain leather. However, this isn’t just any ordinary leather. Oh no! This soft, weathered leather was developed exclusively for Rocky and the Long Range series by SRL – a world class tannery.
But don’t worry; these boots aren’t just another pretty face. The vamp and shaft are joined by a rugged triple stitch. Genuine double-stitched Goodyear Welt construction frames the U shaped toe to give these boots authentic, Long Range service and stability. This stitched construction is not only more durable, but will allow the boot to mold perfectly to your foot over time.
The steel toe cap, on this Long Range boot, is tested to the highest ASTM safety standard – ASTM F2413-11 I/75 C/75 Protective Toe Classification for Impact & Compression, and ASTM F2413-11 Electrical Hazard Standard, to protect you from incidental electrical contact.
The essential element that will allow you to be extremely comfortable in these #6847 boots is the exclusive Long Range X outsole system. This patented system is composed of 10 highly engineered components. With this, your Long Range boots will perform to their greatest ability, and it provides the maximum combination of stability, durability, flexibility and comfort.
Rocky incorporated Dri-Lex Eco™ linings into these Long Range Wellington boots. They are made from renewable and recyclable materials. The key decision in picking these linings is that they have excellent moisture management capabilities, which draws perspiration away from your foot.
Our exclusive Expansion Fit Seam makes it easy to get these #6847 boots on and off. This unique design will stretch where you need it, but will not compromise the Rocky Waterproof Construction.
The footbed that is in this 10"; Long Range boot is dual-density, odor resistant and recyclable. So, you will be provided with cushion, block odor, and the great thing is when you are done with it, you can do some good for the environment.
The Stabili-Shank™ is an irreplaceable Rocky exclusive feature. This shank is molded (in the shape of a rib) to support your arch, plus to give your feet edge-to-edge lateral stability.
On the bottom of this Long Range Wellington boot, the lug depth is 1.5mm shallow is ideal for riding or walking in dirty, muddy settings. The 90° flat front that is on the Long Range heel will help you if you need to stop in a hurry.
