Rocky Handhewn Western Boot
Howdy Partner! Are you serious as a heart attack about your boots? If only the best materials and authentic construction will do, you should be wearing these Rocky Handhewn Western Boots (style #4993).
This boot and you have something in common; you are both incredibly good looking, so just imagine how great these boots will make you look when you have them on. The foot has been cut from finest, premium, full-grain cowhide leather in a rich Cognac color with an embossed buffalo print.
The saddle overlay is also made from full-grain leather. It has been hand tooled to give it more of a rich, authentic look. The fancy-stitched shaft is white goat leather; it’s an amazingly durable fabric and makes a great conversation starter. You might be surprised to learn that even the shaft lining is genuine leather.
This Rocky Handhewn Western boot is made on a contemporary wide square toe last. The square toe is framed and accentuated by a double welt stitch.
The pull-tabs have been made from Cognac leather, which matches the foot’s fabric. There are also finger holes for easy on. Speaking of easy on, you’ll love the hidden elasticized medial side expansion fit seam – It opens up to give extra room for your heel to slip into the boot when you are putting it on or taking it off.
The boot is made with genuine, stitched ¾ Goodyear welt construction. The stitched construction permits the boot to mold to your individual foot as you wear it. Eventually, they become yours and yours alone. This construction also means the real leather outsole can be replaced by any competent shoemaker.
Underneath your foot is a removable dual-density footbed, with heel stabilizer, for comfort and rotation control. There’s also a tempered Steel Shank, for support and lateral stability. The shank is fitted and nailed by hand. The Stockman heel is 1¼";, and this is great because the lower height is good for walking (or dancing). Like the shank, the heel has been nailed on by hand.
