If Rocky created a formula for a type of person to represent our brand and poured it into a mold, Matt Hagan would come roaring out of it. An avid outdoorsman, passionate about his trade with an unbridled focus on obtaining his goals epitomizes the Rocky “Confidence in Action” mantra.

Matt won five races in 2013, which is a single-season record for him, as well as posted four runner-up finishes. He also has five No. 1 qualifying positions, also a single-season career high. After leading the series standings for much of the season, Matt finished second to John Force for the second time (also in 2010). A remarkable turnaround from last years struggles and a persistence for excellence embodies the Rocky "Confidence in Action" mantra.

For fall 2013 Rocky was heavily involved in the opening of the Hagan Outdoor Store located near Matt’s hometown of Christiansburg, VA. IF you are ever in the area, please come on by. The store is located at 6131 Warren Newcomb Dr., Radford VA. The retail store features a large inventory of Rocky Outdoor, Work and Western boots as well as other great products.

Matt Hagan captured the 2011 NHRA Funny Car Championship for Don Schumacher Racing in just his third full season competing in one of drag racing’s top two categories. En route to the 2011 championship, Matt qualified No. 1 three times, earned two wins – Charlotte and Pomona – and set a national elapsed time record at 3.995 seconds, which was the first sub four-second run in Funny Car history.
