Additional Information

The Rocky® S2V Enhanced Jungle Boot gives you something that is hard to find with other military boots "” a snakeproof toe. This is in addition to other great performance and comfort features that support you and your mission.

The Coyote Brown military boot is made in the USA, Berry-compliant, uniform-compliant (AR 670-1) and GSA-approved.

Safety features include a snake guard in the toebox to protect you from snake bites. This jungle boot also is puncture-resistant to protect you from sharp objects you could step on. Roll-Stop Ankle Stability™ reduces injuries by preventing ankle roll while running on uneven terrain and on long marches.

Your duties can take you through wet, swampy conditions. Avoid wet feet and jungle rot with Advanced S2V Sieve™ technology from Rocky. It circulates air in and water out as you step, a superior design to drainage holes provided on other duty boots.

There's an embedded thorn shield across the boot vamp to protect the top of your foot from thorns, brush and other objects you'd rather keep on the outside of your footwear. The CORDURA® tongue has a similar effect. Being made of that tough material, it resists items that could tear at your boot.

This eight-inch combat boot has a proprietary high-walled Vibram® sole that's high-quality and long-lasting. It's both stitched and cemented to the upper so this boot will stay together for the long haul. You get speed lace eyelets and NATO hooks to get your boot on quickly and securely.

While the function and performance of this puncture-resistance boot is great, it's also a comfortable jungle boot. The Rocky Air-Port™ Cushion Footbed is designed for longevity and comfort while moving air around your foot as you walk.

Even the boot lining is specially designed for comfort. Made of Dri-Lex®, the lining wicks sweat from your foot. It also has an Aegis® Microbe Shield that fights bacteria. A fiberglass shank gives you the arch support needed for hours on your feet.

If it's time for a new military boot, make sure you get one that serves you well. Get snake protection and comfort with the Rocky S2V Enhanced Jungle Boot.

    Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.

Rocky S2V Enhanced Jungle Boot is rated 2.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Comfort I purchased the Rocky Jungle Boot in the same size as the S2V Tactical boot that I wear, but the fit isn't consistent. The Jungle Boot is snug and uncomfortable. The boot is especially tight on the top of my foot and doesn't have enough toe room. When my schedule permits, I will return them and may consider either trying larger size or just purchasing another pair of S2Vs in Coyote. Living and training in Southern Louisiana I was excited about these boots, but I have been let down. I recommend trying these boots before purchasing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad new boot Bought a pair in the same size as my s2v boots, but I am very disappointed, these boots are very uncomfortable especially on top of my foot where it creates a massiv pressure point, I hope rocky can fix these issues as It seems like a lot of people have the same issues.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mostly a good idea The jungle S2V is probably the best working idea out there for the jungle boot remake. The old anti roll feature works non stop. Hard to say what will happen with a heel now. The light weight fabrics stay cool and dry fast. Even less fabric to hold any moister will be better. Only one manufacturing flaw in the older style, toe glue doesn't hold and can let dirt work down to stitching. Hope the new ones are better. Calling a plastic toe cap a snake bite feature is interesting, as ankles are the most common bite point. It does solve the problem of the flex point often finding its break on top of the toes. So lets call the solution to that "snake proofing." My biggest problem is my own foot shape and biomechanics. I want a barefoot shape in solid sole with lots of cushion. A tapered toe box squeezes my toes uncomfortably. I thought military footwear followed the idea of the Munson last to maintain better foot health. Sadly, I may need a birkenstock shaped toe. A raised heel is good for digging into mud. That's nice about the 2016 S2V. But it appears to have a larger heel to toe drop. I like the low heel rise in the old style. Again it seems like a more natural foot position. I was holding out hoping the new design would be substantially different to fit my needs, but it looks like it corrected a few things. just not enough for me.
