This Rocky ProLight work boot is resilient and has phenomenal durability because the upper is covered in full-grain leather, has nylon in panels as well as on the tongue (great breathability but incredibly strong) and sturdy nylon laces.

The great thing about wearing this steel toe boot is that it can hold up against 75 lbs. of impact and compression, because it has met the ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 Protective Toe Classification. It has also met its Electrical Hazard Standard, which offers you even more protection on the job.

Regardless if it is raining heavily or the wind is so strong that you think one of the crewmembers might be blown away, the interior of these ProLight work boots will remain waterproof, windproof and breathable (great for warmer days) because of its GORE-TEX® fabric.

To keep your feet comfortable and to make sure that they receive optimal breathability, these work boots have an Air-Port cushioned footbed. This comforting insole provides soothing relief and allows air to flow each time you take a step. Despite the fact that the ProLight outsole is exceedingly lightweight, it offers you outstanding traction. With this feature, you will be able to walk on the roughest terrain with ease.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good boot so far The first day I wore these, I was working in a flooded dock, the boot was underwater about 4 inches for a good Hr. or so and held up great. It was raining too and I thought water had gotten in, but my pants were soaked and my pants had got my socks wet. They are real comfortable to, worked all day with a jack hammer digging up a floor, hauling all the rock out of the basement. I get home at the end of that 11 hr. day, pull the boots off and even though my back hurts, my feet are ok, they are a little tired but not like you wore boots all day, more like you wore gym shoes. My work boot usually hold up for about 7 months or so, if I get that out of these I'll be happy. I may just come back when they wear out and write another review. I had read the other review about the tounge feeling like needles in the top of your feet, that kinda the experience I had the first couple days or so, I was more on my ankles that kinda hurt but after a few days of break in they mellowed out and feel great. As long as these stay on the market, I'll be back to get more. They should put a slip resistant soul on these boots, they are a little slippery on wet tile and other wet surfaces, that would be my only complaint. I had some North face work boots that were the most comfortable but I can't find them anymore, so this might just be the only boot I get from now on.
