Rocky Governor Composite GORE-TEX® Waterproof Toe Work Boot
The Rocky® Governor GORE-TEX® Composite Toe Work Boot is a safety boot that's also comfortable and waterproof, just the boot you need to support you on the job.
The Governor has a composite toe. A composite toe is lighter than steel, yet fully meets the ASTM standard for impact and compression resistance. It also meets the standard for electrical hazard. So what does "electrical hazard" mean? Electrical hazard boots are a secondary source of protection in an electrical hazard environment. They are designed to impede the flow of electricity through the boot and to ground, reducing the possibility of electrocution.
Obviously, safety is a priority with these boots; so you can think about the job at hand rather than about your feet.
This hard-working boot doesn't stop with safety; it's waterproof as well. It's made with revolutionary GORE-TEX fabric. The patented technology is waterproof, windproof and breathable. Your feet stay dry, but air still circulates "” so wearing these boots is not sweat.
Durable and comfortable, this men's work boot has a Vibram® outsole. Vibram is a leader in high-performance soling products that are lightweight, long-wearing, flexible and resistant to abrasions, oil and slips.
Additional durability comes from a Vibram high-abrasion heel guard. Your boots will be protected from years of wear and tear. You also can feel free to kick your boot off without worry of scuffing the heel.
This waterproof work boot is made of heavy-duty full-grain leather with 900 denier nylon that withstands tears and abrasions.
A Terra Suspension footbed provides all-day comfort as you walk, stand and do your job in the Governor.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction to help insulate you from the ground to slow down conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meet and exceed ASTM electrical hazard standards.
