Additional Information

Be strong in the Rocky® S2V Tactical Military Boot. Desert Tan is perfect for military desert maneuvers.

This boot is made with 1,000-Denier CORDURA® technology in the sides and panels with a PTFE coating that acts as a flame retardant. This is combined with flash- and water-resistant leather that protects your feet from quick flashes and rope burn.

The drainage vents push water out while the Dri-Lex® lining and stretch LYCRA® tongues hug your feet, which allows you to keep going.

This Desert Tan combat boot also has triple-stitched uppers and a proprietary high-walled Vibram® outsole. Meanwhile, the PU midsole provides comfort.

Inside the boot, a perforated Air-Port™ cushion footbed is extremely comfortable. It has an Aegis® Microbe Shield — a top-notch defense mechanism that works to prevent fungus and bacteria growth.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great boots, customer service... Not so great The only reason I didn't give it a higher number was because the company' charged me state sales tax and they shouldn't have. I emailed customer service after completing the order, but heard nothing back. If I wanted to pay taxes, I would've just bought them in my state. Disappointed in the lack of customer service. Boots were what I expected though, great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great service and price Had a 35% off coupon which was nice. Great customer service. I had to return my boots cause of size but they were happy to return for me. Run a tad small, so I am sorta between sizes. Overall, the best quality boot you will find anywhere. Will purchase directly again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The last boots I'll ever own I recently purchased these boots at the camp I'm on in the middle east and I have to say, they're the best pair of boots I've ever owned. Break-in period is about a week, but what pair of good, reliable boots doesn't need broken in? These will protect you in all environments and are well worth the money spent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from durable and comfortable! I've used these boots through the last part of osut and airborne school and plan on using them in rasp. They are comfortable and the weight is distributed evenly which makes it easier to run in with a ruck. They have amazing ankle support and feel like you walk on clouds. Its nearly impossible to roll your ankle in these which made for good airborne plfs and good ruck marches. Can't say enough good things about these boots. They also took almost no time at all to break in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never roll your ankle After going through sever other boots, to include Name brand and fairly expensive ones, I finally broke down and paid the premium for these. I will say now that I would have paid more. I wear 13 Wides and have always had problems finding comfortable boots. Never had to break them in. These boots feel like running shoes in regards to comfort. I haven't been able to roll an ankle even when I, and I tried. I wore them through deployment, I wore them through training, I swam in them, I did everything to these boots and they are still as comfortable as if they brand new. I wash them in the washing machine with bleach once a month, well over 20 washes so far. They come out smelling new and fresh, and feel comfortable as heck. After almost 3 years of use, the only thing that has happened is the soles are a bit worn. Best boots/shoes I have ever owned.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lacks quality for price Loved this boot. Have gotten many compliments..however once they see the sole..eyebrows raise. The soles (heels) wore out within 8 months. Holes in the heels prevent me from wearing them in bad weather. I work on my feet 12 hrs a day, 15 days a month on asphalt and tile floors. Thought they would have held up better. I wear them because I can't bring myself to throw away a $200 boot. Perhaps in different terrain they will hold up.??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Amazing boot. I have two pairs. One in tan and one in olive green. Most comfortable boot I've worn. I will continue to purchase them as long as a need a militarty boot. Warm/cool, my feet stay dry. Great grip on all surfaces. Great stability on rocks and such. Only one change I would make...The Wicking dri-lex layer on the tongue needs more coverage. The edges of the material come out in the lace area making the boot look wrong and potentially allowing water to soak into that area. I hope they never discontinue this boot

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Durability 3 months old and S2V are unserviceable due to an abrasion in the outside leather (near heel vents) as a result of descending on a rope which occurred in the first week. At $200 per pair S2V is not worth the price to pay for a boot that lacks durability. Previously I've owned multiple pairs of the following boots Garmont T8s, Rocky Gortex, Belleville 390s, and Nike SFB; none were rendered unserviceable under similar conditions and all cost on average $50 less.
