Additional Information

If you are in need of a superior men's work shoe, Rocky has the perfect choice for you. This is the 6" Rocky Long Range Aluminum Toe Waterproof Work Shoe (style #6878).

The upper on this Rocky Long Range work shoe has been assembled with strong, hard-wearing full-grain Long Range Leather™. Within the interior, the Dri-Lex Eco® linings take care of moisture management, to help keep your feet dry. There is a Long Range dual-density footbed, which provides cushioning and odor resistance.

Guaranteed Rocky waterproof construction supplies resistance against water, mud, and other liquids from getting down into your work shoe and leaving your feet sopping wet. These shoes are more flexible, stronger, and more durable as a result of Rocky building them with Goodyear welt construction.

This Long Range aluminum protective toe gives you all the benefits of a steel toe. It meets the F2413-05 ASTM Protective Toe Classification for impact and compression (I/75 C/75) and the Electrical Hazard Standard.

The 3mm lug depth that's on this Long Range outsole offers oil and slip resistance.

Rocky Long Range Aluminum Toe Waterproof Work Boot is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from comfortable this is not my first pair, been wearing Rocky boots for as long as I can remember, and would never switch. The first time you put them on, it's like you had them a long time! Broke my ankle 2003, I have many pins and screws, Rocky Long Range has the best padding on the inside.....don't feel the effects of the hardware at all!! they wear like iron, the only reason I didnt give 5 stars is the laces wear out way before shoe does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long time since I have had a boot this comfortable Wore the first pair till they wore out and now have a second pair. 12-14 hr days and at one stretch 4 months straight. Probably the best boots I have put on my feet in 30 years. Now you should know they are NOT waterproof. I think maybe Rocky has a different idea of waterproof than mine. There's may be an occasional puddle. Standing on wet concrete 12-14 hours a day they will get wet from the sole up. Now on dirt they may stay dry a longer time. I don't think there is a material made that can prevent this and as they age they get wet quicker. But if you're realistic and have worn work boots on concrete before you know nothing can make a waterproof claim. (At least I don't think so). If you buy a pair of these I promise you won't regret it and at the now reduced price they are absolutely a bargain. Also I have duck feet and these with the aluminum toe I thought I would have to buy in wide but medium is a perfect fit throughout the life of the boot and no new rub callouses. I'd give them 5 stars but the waterproof claim is a little optimistic.
