This Rocky;® Alpha Force Composite Toe Waterproof Insulated Side Zip Duty Boot has everything you need in a duty boot!

Rocky takes care of safety, so you can concentrate on the job at hand. This Alpha Force meets ASTM standards for electrical hazard and for impact and compression, but these work boots are not heavy. This is achieved with a composite toe. A composite toe is lighter than steel, yet fully meets CSA requirements for impact and compression resistance.

Made with Rocky Waterproof construction, air circulates in, but your feet stay dry. Guaranteed.

Beyond having safe and dry feet, you'll also have warm feet. These black duty boots have 400 grams of 3M™ Thinsulate™ Ultra insulation.

Also inside, is the Rocky Air-Port™ footbed for the ultimate in comfort and a non-metallic stabilizer that supports your foot.

The boots have a molded EVA/ rubber outsole that resists oils and slips so you have sure footing on duty. You'll find it easy to get these Rocky boots on and off quickly due to a convenient side zipper.

The eight-inch black boots have full-grain leather and 900-denier nylon combination uppers.

    Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
    Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction using steel composition toe caps to help insulate you from the ground retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meets and exceeds ASTM F2413-05 electrical hazard standards.
    Insulated
Traditional insulation - typically felt or polyfill material offers a thermal barrier without the added benefits of premium insulations.
    Waterproof
This product is built with quality waterproofing materials to keep you dry in wet environments.
Rocky Alpha Force Composite Toe Waterproof Insulated Side Zip Duty Boot is rated 4.75 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super light weight with awesome traction. At first wear I was surprised how super light wight the Alpha is. The Alpha was not much heaver than my hiking shoes. For the first week they were not to rough to wear in, compared to the blisters cause by the old Vietnam jungle boots. Its been 11 months and still wearing them. They are a little beat up with the rubber on the toe starting to pull, but I've been pretty rough on this pair. They are very water poof, never has a puddle or stream entered my boot, but they are hot. I have to wear shear socks in the summer to keep my feet from sweating, diffidently not a summer boot to go hiking long distances. Over all I would buy another pair for work boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent boots Boots are very comfortable, provide good support, and seem quite durable. They are reasonably warm, too. The only issue is that the side zipper is stiff and the snaps over the zipper don't quite line up correctly. Wish they were American made, too. Otherwise, I'd give these boots five stars.
