Rocky SilentStalker GORE-TEX®Waterproof Insulated
This Rocky 8" SilentStalker hunting and outdoor boot is constructed to be lightweight and flexible but still have an athletic fit and feel. This will quickly become one of your favorite boots.
This SilentStalker boot is insulated with 400 grams of Thinsulate Ultra™ insulation. This is a great feature that you probably won't appreciate until the weather drops down, but once its cold outside you will be grateful that your feet are nice and warm.
We understand that the look is a very important factor when you go to purchase a hunting and outdoor boot. The upper has been made with a lightweight combination of Rip-stop (anti-tear) material, a MOBU (Mossy Oak Break-Up®) camouflage print and dark brown suede. The #1890 boot looks masculine but it is designed to blend in with nature.
Over the toe and forepart of the 8" SilentStalker boot, Rocky added abrasion resistant wear protection. This is such a small feature, and it would be easy to overlook, but we like to brag about it because it will preserve the great look of your boot. Most individuals get disappointed when their boots get all scratched up, this feature will prevent this from happening.
To make sure your boots remain breathable and durably waterproof, GORE-TEX® fabric has been added to this boot.
Rocky SIQ Atomic™ is a truly phenomenal feature that will change the way you purchase boots for the rest of your life. What does it do? It helps control human odor on the microbial level. We have all worn boots, where you have taken them off and the smell was so revolting that you could have knocked out a pig with the odor. The Rocky SIQ Atomic™ will keep this from happening in the #1890 boots.
As if the last feature wasn't good enough, Rocky offers you even more comfort and cushion by adding an Ortholite® anti-microbial, dual density polyurethane removable footbed. For impact absorption and stability, there is the compression molded, dual density EVA midsole, which has a softer forepart in order to give you a great feel and even more cushion.
The rubber outsole leaves recessed EVA exposed on the bottom for maximum flex. You'll find that the tread is not overly aggressive and is actually designed to be self-cleaning. How great is it to have a feature that makes it less likely to drag mud all throughout your car and house? You can go hunting or spend time with your buddies outdoors; then walk straight into a restaurant without having the fear that you will be leaving dirt deposits all over the floor.
This is a great hunting and outdoor boot, but it's ok if you want to go to work in them too. After all, something as great as the Rocky 8" SilentStalker GORE-TEX® Waterproof Insulated boot deserves to be worn everywhere.
