To make this Mountain Stalker upper visually appealing for kids, Rocky made use of two highly-durable fabrics. The dark brown colored leather is soft and intermingles nicely with the enduringly strong Cordura® nylon. Printed onto the nylon is a Realtree® AP™ camouflage pattern. Rocky has added a high abrasion toe cap and heel counter to try and keep this kid's Mountain Stalker free of marks, cuts and scratches.
While they are out gallivanting in the woods, it is only natural for you to worry that their feet might get cold or wet. To put you at ease, while those are valid concerns with most adolescent's boots, these Rocky Kid's Mountain Stalker boots have features that will keep them warm and dry. First, there is the 800 grams of Thinsulateâ„¢ Ultra Insulation. This is a great feature to have if they enjoy playing or hunting for hours in cold weather. While they receive a great deal of warmth from this insulation, it is ultra-thin and won't add bulk to their boot. Secondly, these kid's boots have been built with Rocky Waterproof construction. This guarantees that when they are roaming through the woods, exploring new areas, or traipsing through mud puddles, their boots will remain dry.
The rubber Mountain Stalker outsole provides traction and will give their feet a better grip with the ground.
