Additional Information

You're proudly serving your country in the U.S. Army Hooah! If you have been looking for an ACU (Army Combat Uniform) approved boot that is also Berry Compliant (all components are made in the USA), then you should be wearing a pair of these Rocky Basics Steel Toe Hot Weather Military Boots (style #6826).

Are you wondering where this boot can be worn? This unlined, hot weather boot is approved for both training and combat. The upper of this boot is constructed with a combination of suede leather and 1000 denier Cordura® nylon panels. The vamp, quarter and eyestay all have been created using heavy weight split cowhide (1.8 - 2.0 mm), and have a non-woven backing in the vamp and quarter. This backing provides added strength and moisture absorption.

The tongue and panels have been made with 1000 denier Cordura® nylon. This is because it is an exceptionally b fabric, which is extremely difficult to tear. Even though the laces are non-wicking, they are made to be abrasion-resistant. The tongue is fully gusseted to block dirt and debris out of the boot. There's also a full, foam-padded collar, which is there to provide you with a level of comfort.

This Rocky Basics #6826 boot offers incredible protection for your feet. The steel toe cap is certified to ASTM F2413-11 I/75 C/75 for the highest levels of Impact, Compression and EH (Electrical Hazard) protection.

But wait, there's more! Underneath your foot is a full, removable polyurethane Pro-Cell footbed, with an additional ½ " thick energy-return plug in the heel, and an AEGIS Microbe Shield in the footbed cover. This AEGIS protection will not wear off. It is great for warding off bacteria, and preventing odor.

All this is mounted on a shock-absorbing, lightweight, flexible direct attached PU midsole. The midsole will provide your feet with cushion and keep them stable. This particular Rocky Basics boot features an extra-long, abrasion-resistant flocked inside counter pocket to hold your heel in place. The fiberglass shank will offer rear and mid-foot stability and torsion control. The outsole is an abrasion-resistant, multi-terrain, dual-density, genuine Vibram® 360 ° with gripping 6mm self-cleaning lugs and ladder-gripping shank treads.

The Rocky Basics Steel Toe Hot Weather Military Boot is anything but "œbasic. " It is made from the highest quality materials in the United States and protects your feet by offering exceptional safety features.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stitching not done properly I bought these boots 2 weeks ago for my work as I needed steel toe. When I opened the box and put them on, I noticed the right boot stitching was coming undone at the location on the side of the first lace. I new it would not say together as 1/2'' of stitching was out already gone. I contacted Rocky Boots Customer Service to explain the problem and she said to return them and they would send another pair.[sent me a return label through my computer] I have not worn the boots at all and have not received the replacement yet. I will up date my reveiw when I get my replacement boots and finally get to wear them. It's been 1 week since I've sent them back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable Boot I have Size 13 Wide feet, I bought these in regular size 13, and don't regret it. They come almost completely broken in I only needed a week before they felt like a second skin. Very durable I've hiked around parts of the Canadian wilderness and it's holding up really well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seriously love this boot! Just got it in the mail and put it on for the first time and it feels amazing! This boot will probably be broken in for me in a day! Proper sizing is everything, if someone doesn't like the boot they probably ordered the wrong size. Thanks Rocky, you seriously know how to make a good boot! I highly recommend this boot! Great support, tough and durable heel, and the steel toe feels like it's not even there! I'm excited to make this my daily wear boot! And another thing, I can't believe how cheap it was. What an awesome deal for this quality of boot!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very well Built I had previously purchased your SV2 boots and was blown away at the quality. I managed to destroy them but only after serious abuse which included but was not limited too running, diving, sprinting, leaping, tree climbing, hiking, hunting, river wading, duck hunting, and literally wearing them every single day. Although the Rocky Basics steel toe boot did not break in as easy as the SV2 it is still one of the best boots I have ever had. Firstly the boot is built to withstand abuse and the steel toe in my opinion is a huge plus. It works well as a hiking boot and hunting boot I also use them for work and I really love them. They will be put through the same abuse the SV2's faced and I am fully confident they will be up to the challenge. Very glad to be sticking with the Rocky brand for all of my future purchases, thank you for making an outstanding product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I am worried! I bought this shoes and I find this very hard sole which is all likely not to be comfortable. I am thinking of returning them. Would anyone advise me before I use these on foot and ruin them for return?
