Additional Information

This Rocky men's Great Oak Logger was assembled with especially durable full-grain leather; the material's natural smoothness helps this logger boot fit more comfortably and its burgundy hue looks rugged yet handsome. The triple-padded collar prevents the 9 " footwear from digging into the back of your legs and feels tremendously comfortable. The lace-to-toe design allows you to control how tight or loose these work boots fit and adjust accordingly throughout the day. Having a kiltie prevents small bits and pieces -pebbles, sticks, brush, etc. - from crossing the threshold into the interior.

Wearing a composite-toe boot that has met the ASTM F2413-05 I/75 C/75 Protective Toe Classification as well as the ASTM F2413-05 Electrical Hazard Standard is an extremely effective way to keep your feet uninjured. You wouldn't believe the peace of mind that comes from knowing that this safety toe can endure up to 75 lbs. of impact and compression.

A GORE-TEX® membrane ensures that this work footwear is going to be waterproof, windproof and also breathable. While you're working, this is the key component that will keep you utterly dry and comfortable. The mesh lining feels soft and prevents irritation from occurring, while the Rocky Air-Port polyurethane footbed supports, cushions and provides steady air flow to your feet.

Although, the Vibram® rubber outsole is comfortable to stand on and has a great deal of flexibility, you will be thoroughly impressed with how well this sole can resist abrasions and the slip/oil resistance that it provides. The low heel allows you to walk with ease. Once the outsole has worn down, you are able to take these work boots to a shoe repairman and have it completely replaced, because the footwear was assembled with Goodyear welt construction.

When you lace up these Rocky Great Oak Composite Toe Waterproof Low-Heel Logger Work Boots (#6428) you can be certain that they will be durable enough to hold up on the job, comfort your feet tremendously and offer you superior waterproof protection.

Rocky Great Oak Composite Toe GORE-TEX® Waterproof Low Heel Logger Boot is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rugged and handsome, like my beard. I work for the dept of transportation. These boots are rugged enough for hard summer work. And flexible enough to make getting in and out of heavy equipment a breeze. The color is a great coffee color that looks even better with mink oil. They fit true to size. They seem well made. Will buy again when these finally wear out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value I have had these boots three or four weeks now. I am still in the process of breaking them in, so it is hard for me to rate the comfort. The overall quality of the boot seems really good. Of course the true test is time on a good pair of boots. They seem great for now. I got them for a great price on the Rocky site.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Squeaky clean Squeaky being the point here. The boot is comfortable but it sqeaks with every step. I quit wearing them to work because in my job you don't squeak around without getting humiliated from your co-workers. I believe it is the leather pulling around the composite toe material causing the squeak.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Look good, feel good, and are affordable! Great boots! This is my second pair. I bought the first pair of Rocky Boots in 2005 and just now had to replace them. Goretex lining, Vibram soles, good height to protect your ankles, and they're under $100. Perfect.
