Additional Information

Just over 51% percent of this Rocky IronClad work boot is comprised of really durable and smooth full-grain leather. Having a nylon shaft provides additional abrasion resistance, adds fantastic breathability and keeps the footwear relatively lightweight. This wellington-style boot has been equipped with pull straps; once you grab ahold, you'll be able to pull these 11 " boots on with complete ease.

You'll be singing the praises (ok, maybe not literally singing, but you'll brag about it a lot!) of the mesh lining that has been constructed into the interior of these brown boots. The lining is lightweight, durable and soft; therefore, it won't feel burdensome, will provide great resistance to wear and will prevent these pull-on boots from chafing your legs. Plus, these work boots were assembled with Rocky waterproof construction, which means that the interior is guaranteed to remain dry.

For additional comfort, a Rocky Air-Port cushioned footbed has been positioned directly beneath your feet. Why is it so great? It is made from polyurethane. You know those insoles that you've had in the past that wear completely down? Well, polyurethane doesn't do that. It keeps its shape and provides outstanding cushioning. It also generates a steady flow of air, so your feet remain cool and extremely comfortable.

Even further down, there is an EVA midsole that absorbs shock, helps to reduce the amount of weight that you are pressing down and provides even more comfort. Since the midsole is particularly lightweight, it isn't a feature that will weigh the boots down. The IronClad rubber outsole is flexible, provides unbelievable oil and slip resistance (there's actually a 7-layer system in place), hard wearing and exceptionally comfortable to stand on throughout the course of the day.

Looking for soft-toe work boots? Want them to have a great deal of durability but still be comfortable? If that sounds exactly what you have been looking for... these Rocky IronClad Waterproof Wellington Work Boots (#2430) are unquestionably the right choice for you!

Rocky IronClad Waterproof Wellington Work Boot is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Control Frustrates My first pair of Rocky work boots have been super comfortable since I first pulled them on, but unfortunately have soles and heels that have finally fallen apart after years of regular and demanding wear. They still have great leather uppers, so I am having their soles and heels replaced. I bought the Rocky IronClad boots as a backup, hoping for a second great pair of boots. Sad to say, one new boot's leather is tanned a red color, and the other is brown. If I had seen them in a store, rather than ordering online, I would not have bought them. The leather quality also appears inferior to that of the old Rockys, and the soft cloth inner linings of the uppers are wrinkled in random ways. There are also multiple little flaws of cutting and sewing that show these were mass-made by workers who didn't have much pride in their products. However, the soles and heels are of a very sturdy-looking material that looks like it should really wear well--feels like it too, as they are very stiff while I am breaking them in (something I did not even have to do with my old original Rocky boots).
