Additional Information

Training with Confidence, Courage, Commitment and Comfort. The Rocky® C4T Trainer Military Duty Boot is the lightest military performance boot Rocky has ever made. Designed for rigorous garrison training, the Rocky C4T is a game changer.

The boot's lightweight EVA/rubber outsole resists anything training can throw at it: slips, oils, heat, abrasions, chemicals and metal chips.

Helping you focus on the task at hand, this is water-resistant and fast-drying military boot. You have work to do and can't be distracted by wet boots. The Rocky C4T keeps up.

Lacing may seem minor to some, but it's important when your day consists of rigorous work. There's no time to waste and long-lasting laces are a must, so Rocky designed this military boot with speed eyelets and NATO hooks through which you can pull your 550 cord laces.

The Rocky C4T Trainer allows you to move light-footed while providing outstanding support.

This round-toe boot has no metal parts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Change for the worse I bought a pair of these a couple years ago and they started to wear out so I figured I get another pair since they are so comfortable. Well apparently they changed the design or the material because these boots are a complete 180 from the earlier versions. The old pair felt like a pair of well worn, comfortable sneakers while the new pair feels rock hard and unforgiving. Also, in the new pair, there is little lip of fabric on the inside right where the laces start near the toe end that make it feel like I have something stuck in my boot no matter what I do. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Walking with comfort with the ankle support I am a disabled veteran with damaged to my ankles from being a paratrooper for six years. The C4T trainers I am wearing today are my tenth pair since I tried on my first pair five years ago!!. The C4T boot has the cushion I need for my heal and the support I need for my ankles as I have no attached tendons in my left foot and only one in my right. With out the support my feet will do a 90 degree roll and cause more damage if I hit any uneven terrain. I like them so much I always keep two extra new pair in the event Rocky Boots quit selling them. I have also bought other boots with the same comfort and support from Rocky!!Thank you Rocky, Airborne all the way!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lightweight Boot I have been wearing this boot for a month now and they are one of the best boots I have ever purchased. It’s lightweight and comfortable to wear during training or admin duty, not recommended for deployments due to a lack of sturdiness and steel toe. Only issue I have with them is the laces. The laces wore down and broke after the first few wears, so I replaced them with a thinner speed lace from Brigade Quartermaster.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very comfortable, but tore up quickly Bought these boots for a new assignment less than a year ago. Looks great, and very comfortable. I walk to/from work (about 2 miles) and they haven't caused my feet any issues. Unfortunately, the fabric on one side of my boots has torn and frayed extensively, leaving a rather large hole. I work in an office primarily, so I don't really do anything that I believe would wear them down in less than a year. Overall, I recommend the brand and model because they are very comfortable and a decent price. I'm assuming I just (unfortunately) got a bad pair, but that has been my experience with these boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Minor complaints but overall satisfied. I bought this boot about 2 months ago and love them! The only issue I've come across is the "550" cord lacing. The inner strands of the 550 cord come through and give a tacky appearance. Had to get them replaced at clothing sales. Sizing was tricky due to the stitching at the base of the tongue near the first shoe lace row. I suppose it depends if you have a higher arch but it felt like there was a non-existent bar being pressed on my feet. With that I had to go up half a size. I used the desert tan C4T while deployed doing convoy ops and they were great. Overall, I've been satisfied.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Perfect shoes to lose toe circulation! Round two with these boots and I'm officially never buying these shoes again, can't say the same for the rest of the Rocky line-up though. I thought my first pair was a fluke but after waiting almost a month to get my second pair, it's exactly the same as the first. There's a very thick and rigid piece of fabric where the tongue meets the bottom of the shoe, so every time you bend your toes (when you walk), you get a pinch. I can only wear these shoes an hour max before I can't feel my big toe. This is the first time I've written reviews for a pair of shoes because they are this bad.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sole Delaminating I bought these for garrison use. In the past I have worn S2Vs and knew they were comfortable boots, so I decided on the lighter weight C4Ts for daily garrison wear. These will probably be the only pair of C4Ts I will buy. After 6 months of very light duty (Re: office work), the 3 lugs on the left boot are coming off. Shoe-goo makes an easier fix than warranty return, plus I would be without my boots with the return. So I my case, I got what I paid for, a cheaper boot in all respects, cost and quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought these boots back in March and the laces started fraying after the first wear. They are very comfortable and would be my favorite boot but after 2 months of wear the inner fabric on the right foot started fraying and coming apart from the boot. These boots fit well, but do not want to spend the money for another pair if they can't last more than 2 months.
