Additional Information

With the aim of creating a military boot that can be worn in scorching, damp and tropical settings, Rocky® designed these S2V Jungle Boots. The uppers are lightweight and durable because they've been assembled with flash-resistant leather and Cordura® fabric that's able to resist abrasions, scratches and rips. Having drainage holes provides breathability, allows water to disperse quickly and helps these boots dry fast.

The interior has been crafted without a lining to preserve the lightness of these 8-inch Rocky S2V boots. The bottoms of your feet will be surrounded by a steady flow of air and feel cushioned because these desert-tan boots have an Air-Portâ„¢ footbed inside of them.

Roll-stop ankle stability has a significant impact on the steadiness of your footing, which in turn, prevents your ankles from rolling inside of these jungle boots. You'll be surprised by how durable, light and flexible the high-walled Vibram® outsole is and will appreciate how easy it makes climbing/ descending.

These #RKYC002 Rocky S2V Jungle Boots are durable, extremely comfortable and lightweight. Get your pair today!

Rocky S2V Jungle Boot is rated 4.32 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, Reliable I bought these with the intention of training at Fort Knox, KY, along with using them in other hot, steamy, and wet climates. Wow did they perform well! I never got one blister during the entire 30 day cycle. They material breathes really well for the protection the boot provides. However, the more light and breathable the boot is, usually means less protection for your foot. This is very apparent with this boot. Again however, I could jog several miles in these and be OK. The multiple air vents work flawlessly. Pros: light, breathable, ideal for hot/sweaty/wet climates, great traction, good lace system Cons: lack of protection

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for hot weather Wore these at NTC and the the vent holes really helped. Even with the all the vent holes I still got zero sand in my boots. Really comfortable. Negatives are that the fancy tread of the front of the boot wears out really quickly and the glue on the sides comes unglued quickly but there is still stitching to keep it together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps my feet cooler than any other boot Just like my other pair of Rocky's, these Jungle boots took about 2-3 weeks to feel like they are fully broken in. Once fully broken in, they are a dream. On pavement, off pavement, ruck marches, or just sitting at a desk - so comfortable. Very nice traction in wet, muddy, or snowy conditions. Lastly, these are the best breathing boots I've ever had. The result is feet that stay cooler than in any other boot, which is nice to have for central Texas summers.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Military Use These boots were great the first week out of the box. However, there is glue that holds the outer soul to the canvas and this stuff might as well have been held on by bubble gum. The glue did not hold worth a bit. There is a single stitch line that runs around the boot so this will easily hold the soul on but it's not too satisfying to know that there are other things held together by this glue. Another problem is the bottom eyelets that the 550 cord boot laces go through. These things do not have enough crept metal on the back side to hold the eyelets down. I expect the eyelets will come off relatively soon. They already spin freely. So, beside the glue and the eyelets, there is nothing else to complain about. I will not buy another pair as a U.S. Army infantryman. Maybe rocky needs to stop mass producing footware and worry a little more about the quality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not Great I bought these boots for wear in the state of Louisiana where it is extremely humid and hot. They are very "cool" and vent well. They are comfortable and sized well. However, after about 2 months of office use the front toe is coming apart from the boot where it is suppose to be held together with a glue. If I were wearing these in the actually jungle I don't feel they would hold up. Maybe I got a defective pair. I am contacting Rocky to see about a replacement. I do like the boot, but its not holding up to even light use.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Interesting design, but doesn't fit me I like the design and innovative use of both materials, but a spot where they interfaced created a fit problem for me. The cordura on the top of the foot is relatively soft, but the leather along the eyelets is very stiff. So stiff that it creases the cordura and bites down (sharp and hard!) onto the top of my foot with every step. It's exaggerated even more by the low height of the forefoot and instep. Everything else feels great- width, length, platform under the foot, etc. Regrettably, I sent them back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! Great boot! Fits a size smaller than your running shoe i.e. Size 11 running shoe, size 10 Rocky boot. Breaths a lot better than the original S2V. Feet do not sweet as much. Maintains the high standard of Rocky in durability. Great for rucking and fast drying once wet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Boots Been wearing for 3 weeks. Break in period was short. Very comfortable from even first time I put on and laced up. Boots are cool to the feet and provide support where needed plus VERY light. Read reviews before ordering and ordered accordingly, they run 1 size smaller than you typically wear, mine fit perfect ordering this way. I am extremely happy with my purchase and am now anxiously awaiting the release of the Coyote Brown for new uniforms.
