Additional Information

The Rocky 9" BearClaw 3D boots are great for hunting, but you may want to work in them, too. Regardless of where you wear them, the #FQ0009237 boots are durable, rugged and comfortable.

These  Rocky boots are made with full-grain leather and tough nylon. They have genuine Goodyear® welt construction and a storm welt for durability, shape-retention and a solid platform for hours of wear. A breathable GORE-TEX® fabric membrane keeps moisture out and keeps your feet dry. Rocky added 200 grams of 3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation to the hunting boots to help keep your feet warm even on the coldest days.

The lace-up system is a lace-to-toe pattern with eyelets, D-rings and hooks for maximum adjustment.

When you're walking, your feet are comfortable because of Rocky's exclusive polyurethane cushioned Air-Port™ footbed which also is perforated for air circulation. And, of course, Rocky's own BearClaw 3D outsole has a multi-directional, self-cleaning lug design that grabs the ground to be able to give you traction wherever you walk.

For waterproof, insulated boots with great traction, get the Rocky BearClaw.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I bought this boot about 6 to 8 months ago and they hurt my feet everyday I still have the scars on my feet and legs.I will never buy this boot again. Recently the heel came off and I had to wire it together, because I didn't have 200.00 for a different pair..I am so disappointed in the lack of quality of this boot. I scraped up the money and ordered the Georgia boot, they came yesterday. They felt great.I paid for 2day shipping, which didn't happen it was 3days.I work really hard and we live payday to payday, I don't have an extra 200.00 .you need to check into the quality of some of your work boots. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Walking on air. I bought these boots several days ago and I absolutely love them. I bought a pair of iron clads several months back and had to have them warranties. While in the store the salesman had me try these on to check the fit for the replacement boots and I loved them. Had to buy them. I now have two pairs of rocky boots and both are great. I'm 6'2 300 pounds so finding a comfortable boot is important and these do wonders for my feet. I work on a railroad rain or shine and these boots have already been soaked in the past few days from the down pour we are receiving in NC. they've kept my feet warm and dry. Love these boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good boot i have been buying rocky for several years.this style is great.it has one major flaw. they eat strings like there is no tomorrow.this last pair is about 2 years old.i wear them everyday.(i am a land surveyor).i have bought enough strings in the last two years to buy a new pair of boots.i will buy another pair because they still hold up better than anything else, but they need to fix the eyelets.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great boot, If they went vack to old goodyear solr I have had these boots for 3 years. They are warm, comfortable and durable. My only complaint is the sole, which is a big deal for me. I hunt and work in a lot of wet conditions. The sole of this boot is horrible. It is the slickest sole of any boot I have owned. I bought my first pair of Bear Claws in 1996 direct from the outlet in Nelsonvile while attending Hockin College as a student. I loved those boots! I wore them for 10 years until the sole cracked in half. These boots would have that same great appeal if you got back to the old goodyear welt or a new vibram sole. Rocky as a whole has had their quality go down hill. It saddens me to say this because I want to love this company, but the last few pair of boots have been quite disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I recently returned from a South Dakota pheasant hunting trip. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to "break-in" the boots before my trip. Right from the box, these were the most comfortable boots I have ever purchased. Walking over 3-4 miles per day, my feet never hurt. Great boots and definitely worth 5 stars! They did take awhile to receive as they were shipped using USPS. Also, they are not made in the USA which would be my only complaint. I looked at Danner first because some of their boots are made in the U.S. but they didn't have exactly what I was looking for.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from They're Okay I've been a fan of rocky boots ever since I bought the rocky outback boots which were great and lasted me many years. I decided to buy a new pair of boots and the bearclaw boots seem to fit what I was looking for. First let me start off by saying that these are NOT waterproof they are water resistant. Secondly they are not very comfortable. After a long day of work wearing these boots my feet are incredibly sore almost like there is little to no cushion what so ever in the boots. They do fit quite nicely, but as far as comfort goes there is none. I was very excited about getting these boots but now I know better. I guess I'll just have to wear these out before I try out a new pair of boots. Very disappointed in these boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best boot ever ive had this boot for about 6 months, by far the best boot ive ever owned.. ive owned several dif kinds of rocky and other big name brands but imo these are the best fof my needs..the leather is soo plush you can tell its very high quality, which means no break in needed comfortable from day one.. traction is top notch and cleans out very easy. and no need to worry about tthe lugs wearing out quickly (i did) to be honest mine has mostly seen concrete more than the outdoors, worn nearly every day with no sign of wear on the sole.. 200g with gore tex keeps u warm and dry without making u sweat. if your on the fence about these go ahead and try them i bet youll be glad u did. o and by the way ive never had any problems with my laces being cut or damaged in any way

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DRY FEET Bought these at the last minute when I realized I had forgotten that my old pair were wore out last hunting season. Left for a 12 day moose hunt in Northern BC Canada. Took a spare pair of boots and liners which never left camp. These Rocky boots performed awesome day after day walking in all types of weather, quadding and even canoeing. Always dry, warm and comfortable. Gave them some TLC when I got home and they look as good as new.
