Additional Information

Sometimes when you are looking for footwear, it feels like you have to pick and choose whether you want style, comfort or durability. Ultimately, you end up with a product that doesn't fulfill your wish list. With this 12 " Rocky Long Range Western Boot (#FQ0008819) you don't have to settle; it is a tough men's boot that's comfortable and just so happens to be rather nice looking.

The Cayenne and Saddlehorn colors on this full-grain leather western boot are attention grabbing. The leather on the foot looks weathered, but this material is incredibly soft. Although, don't let the handsome appearance fool you, because of the Goodyear welt construction this boot has all of the flexibility, strength and durability that you would expect from a pull-on western boot.

If you are not normally a fan of the traditional square toe, don't let that scare you off; this Long Range western boot has features that will keep your feet utterly comfortable. The Expansion Fit Seam™ expands just wide enough for you to be able to get your heel and ankle down into and out of this boot easily, and then the seam closes back together. As you move, this feature will be unnoticeable, so it won't alter the look of this Western boot in any way.

There are two other comfort features that have been placed on the inside of this Long Range Western boot. The first is the Dri-Lex Eco® lining that keeps moisture, perspiration and dampness away; your feet will remain cool and comfortable because of this feature. The second is the Long Range footbed; it cushions your steps and is resistant to odors.

If you are commonly around environments that are covered in dust or muddy the 1.5mm lug depth on the Long Range outsole is exactly what you need.

Being comfortable while looking sharp, it's achievable in these Long Range Western boots.

    • Goodyear® welt construction
    • Square toe
    • Dri-Lex Eco lining with moisture management
    • Long Range dual-density removable footbed is recyclable and odor resistant
    • Long Range heel
    • Expansion Fit Seam for easy on and off
    • Soft, weathered Long Range leather upper
    • Long Range X outsole system of ten peak performance components
    • Triple stitched construction
    • 12 inches in height

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around boot I have had these boots for about 10 months now and they are the most comfortable boots i have owned. So comfortable in fact I have switched from Ariat boots. I have worn the other boots for years at work and home, but after seeing these and wearing them for months i have switch to Rocky boots at work also, i just purchased the Long Range aluminum toe work boot. Rocky has definitely gained a customer for life with the comfort, style and quality!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good not great I've owned these boots for 7 months. They get worn every day all day long. I live in Northern Utah so they have seen all sorts of weather conditions. I didn't buy these for show I bought them to work in and they have been ridden hard in the last seven months. About six months in the piece of leather sewn in to protect the boot as your heal goes in ripped on both boots. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but it made it a pain to get your foot back out of the boot. I ended up just slicing it with my knife so my foot could slide out easier. The sole inserts are absolutely shot. There is composite material to ad structure to the back of the heal that is worn right into and starting to flap around inside the boot so I'm going to need to cut that out soon too. The main leather of the boot is in pretty good shape (I do try and oil them fairly regularly), but the leather has stretched out sooo much my foot in swimming in them now. For 7 months of use I'd say the actual rubber sole is in good enough shape. I do not see these boots lasting me a full 12 months though. They would probably last quite a bit longer if they were worn casually and not as a ranch/construction boot like in my case.
