LISTEN UP SOLDIERS... A must-have item for any man in the military is a pair of great-fitting, comfortable, but exceedingly resilient boots. Regardless of your rank, these Desert Tan colored  Rocky Basics Military Boots (#7901) are the ultimate choice for temperate weather.

Not only are they Berry Compliant (Made in USA) and offer  Flame Resistance (FR), but they're also approved for: ACU, US Army and the US Air Force.

This Rocky Basics boot has been constructed from a blend of Suede leather and extremely durable 1,000 Denier Cordura® nylon. The GORE-TEX® fabric utilized is durably waterproof, breathable, and allows internal moisture to evaporate quickly.

When you're moving rapidly and are exerting all your energy, you'll appreciate that the Aegis Microbe Shield® (applied to the footbed) will help prevent fungus, mold, mildew, and odor from occurring.

On the bottom is the lightweight Vibram® rubber outsole. It's perfect for a military boot due to its flexibility, long-lasting ability and abrasion, oil and slip-resistance.

AS YOU WERE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For $90 this is a great boot This boot is hard to beat for the price. I order a pair and love them. They are water for sure the first day I wore them I was in a flash flood thunderstorm. At first they are stiff but like any boot they need to be broken in. The look is great not to flashy or fancy and can be worn with allot of different styles. The quality of this boot seams to be superb. I mean it is Rocky after all. I wish this boot was steel toe as well but I guess that's why its such a good price. The toe in it has a stiff feel to it though so not too bad. I guess the only thing I didn't like about this was the shoe laces they are not the best, but I am changing that to some nice paracord and should be good. These boots fit true as well spot on with my shoe size. Also the shipping was great they came to me within 3 days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Incredible value for the price. I bought these mainly for hiking. I wanted a pair of boots made in the USA and was a bit disturbed to find out how difficult this is to find these days! So far, I've mainly worn them around home and outside for errands. These are much more substantial boots than they appear -- the suede is quite thick as are the soles. I got 2Es, and the fit is just right. They pull on easily and the speedlacing works well. I agree with some others that the laces aren't the best, but that's easily rectified. Also note -- the insole does have that square section that fits into a cutout in the innersole -- at first it felt a bit weird, but I quickly acclimated to it. All in all -- a pair of US-made boots at this price is a steal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from From snow to sand I bought these last year because if there diversity, gore-tex + Desert Boot.... Let their be no joke, I have taken these through mountain ranges of Ireland, the highest mountain in Whales (snowden) and the snowy peaks of Ben Nevis (highest mountain in the Britain and Ireland), sailing from Britian to Ireland, through the desert sand of the Middle East, all the way to the mountain ranges of China... Still water proof, still going strong. Outstanding. Buy this boot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty much just as I expected Straight out of the box they were comfortable and not overly hot. The sole feels a bit hard but a $2 pair of insoles took care of the problem. So far a good boot. Work in construction around water and they are performing well, waterproof and pretty comfortable after wearing and standing all day

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy - returned them. From the first time I had them on my feet, it felt like there was a sock wad under the heal. I swap inserts and still could no get a good fit. Under the heal there is a hole for aligning the insert. The foot volume for was small for a 4E foot. The units were returned.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible stitching and Sole adhesive. I bought these about 3 months ago. First, the sole started separating. Fixed it. Now the stitching on both the inside and out are separating. The stitching is bad on the inside I have to use a shoehorn to prevent the inside sock from running under my heel.
