Additional Information

The exterior on this Great Oak Logger has incredible hardiness and strength as a result of Rocky making this 9" work boot with only the finest full-grain brown leather. When a leather welt is utilized to hold the structure together, you know you are wearing a boot with fantastic might. The quality of the upper is enhanced even further with its lace-up design; this feature allows you to control the fit of your boot.

Wearing impeccably well-made safety footwear is fundamental; this Logger's composite toe has met the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) F2413-05 Electrical Hazard Standard, as well as meeting its I/75 C/75 Protective Toe Classification which means it is able to withstand up to 75 lbs. of impact and compression.

The exterior has the brawn and the ruggedness, but the interior is where the comfort lies. Each time you take a step, your feet will be cushioned by the contoured footbed. Since this polyurethane insole is removable, you can always add in more padding.

GORE-TEX® is state-of-the-art fabric that makes it possible for this footwear to be highly breathable, durably waterproof and even windproof. Combine that technology with the incredibly lightweight Thinsulate™ Ultra Insulation (400 grams) and you now have a way to keep your feet cool, dry and tremendously comfortable throughout the day.

Regardless of what part of the country (or even world) you're working in, having a lightweight outsole that is unaffected by oil and offers you great abrasion and slip resistance is of the essence. The hard-wearing Vibram® 946K outsole on the bottom of this men's Logger has all of those makings; it is what you need to be wearing in order to get the job done.

Suitable for the manliest of men, this Rocky Great Oak Composite Toe Waterproof Insulated Logger (#6543) makes a phenomenal work boot.
