Rocky® Waterproof construction guarantees your feet will stay dry no matter where your treks lead. No need to fear swampy trails or muddy slopes. The hiking boot's indisputable strength against moisture means no question about comfortable, dry feet during any and every hike. Don't let another breathtaking vista go unseen because of unwelcoming conditions. See soggy spring from the highest hilltops, muddy summer from your favorite cliff, slippery autumn from your local ridge and slick winter from the mountains.

The Rocky Air-Port™ cushion footbed provides luxurious relief to your active feet. The support is even further enhanced by a slip-resistant Vibram® S-191 outsole which contributes unquestionable traction and flexibility. Every step should be steady and safe, and the thoughtfully designed outsole makes that possible.

The five-inch outdoor boot boasts an upper made from nubuck leather, a material as flexible as it is durable. The classically attractive brown and black color scheme makes this boot an easy-to-pair option. Complete with a reinforced toe plate and heel, your feet will feel fully protected. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable, Excellent! I bought these boots working a pretty tough job, and taking lots of hikes. My previous boots tore, these ones have had my back for well over a year. They've seen deserts, swamps, mountains, and forests and never let me down. Great boots for work, great boots for outdoors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Make Sure Right Size! So far...I like the boots. However I may have been better off buying 111/2 v. 11 size. The insides are compact and do not allow you to wear a very thick hiking or hunting sock! I must keep the sock on the lighter side and cannot use a liner sock. Buyer beware on the size. Otherwise I like the boots for performance, looks and ruggedness.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shoes purchased My husband wore them for a two hour walk. He came home and announced they hurt his ankles because they are too thick and rub in that area. Unfortunately we had already recycled the box the previous day so that was a huge waste of money. He will not wear them and nobody in the family wears the same size so they are sitting in the basement. He said they are the worst shoes he's ever worn and he's worn a lot including many Rocky styles previously.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fit I recently bought these boots and was really excited to get them. Upon putting them on I noticed they were very loose on my feet, so I wore them for a day and tighten them up with the strings. Still the next day they were still loose. The length was correct but there is now way to tighten these boots up. Had I known that I would not have wasted the money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disapointed I wore them three days and the upper eyelets gave way. I don't lace my boots tight. They should have suck with speed hooks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the fit and comfort These are sturdy and solid hiking boots. They fit great and are very comfortable. I lead a Boy Scout Troop and the first week I had them, I wore them for a 10 mile hike with no discomfort at all. My feet were well cushioned and well protected. I'm looking forward to lots of hiking and backpacking in them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall a great boot. I've had this boot about a month now, and it's the best hiking boot I've ever owned. However, it's not perfect. I'm writing this review so hopefully Rocky can fix the few small imperfections. The biggest problem is that width on the "medium" (the size most people wear) size is a little more narrow than most other boots of the same size. It's not so narrow that you can't wear it correctly, but the boot should be just a wee bit wider. There is one other very small imperfection, that is easily fixed by the buyer: the leather isn't sealed quite as much as it should be. I fixed this with a couple coats of snoseal, so no biggie, but maybe add a bit more sealant in the future. Despite these two concerns it is the best all-around hiker I've worn, for the kind of stuff I do. I spend most my time off trail in rugged terrain, (I work as a lineman for the forest service) so a burly, tough boot like this is what I need. If you just want something for weekend trail hikes, this boot is overkill. But for serious users this boot is fantastic. I'd say I'd buy it again, but It's probably going to last me a very long time!
