Additional Information

Normally if you would encounter a rattlesnake, copperhead, or coral snake when you were out hunting, you would learn of your hidden ability to run at a lightning-fast speed. These Rocky ProLight Snake Proof Hunting Boots (#1570) will not eradicate a fear of snakes, but they do offer protection that is invaluable while you are outdoors.

While this camouflage hunting boot features full-grain leather and incredibly resilient nylon, the central feature on this upper is the snake proof fabric. While you are wearing these boots, your feet and legs will be protected from the majority of venomous snakes in North America!

For internal protection against wetness, these ProLight boots are built with Rocky waterproof construction. While you're hunting, your feet will remain dry and comfortable.

As you step down, the ProLight BioMech outsole will deliver traction as you walk across rough and unbalanced terrain.

These ProLight hunting boots will help keep you out of harm's way. Get yourself a pair today!

Rocky Prolight Waterproof Snake Proof Hunting Boot is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rugged Comfortable Boot I bought this boot 3 weeks ago and wear them every day, hiking around 5 miles a day. These boots have a very comfortable foot feel and leave my feet feeling good even after a long day of hiking. They are extremely hot in the summer days here in Southern New Mexico but that's a price i'm willing to pay for the defense. The only complaint i have is the stiffness they exhibit around the ankles. They were very uncomfortable to break in and bruised my ankle a little. They have broken in well though (took about 5 days) and now only have discomfort about 5% of the time

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, durable I've worn these boots the past two turkey seasons and any time I'm out in the woods in warm (snake) weather. Comfortable on long hikes to get to my favorite spots and they have held up well through some pretty rugged terrain. Great waterproofing, my feet have yet to get wet. Hope I never have a chance to test the snake proof feature, but I feel safer with these boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worn 1 pair for two winters: great boots I have worn the same pair of these boots for the last two winters. Where I live, in the winter I have to walk one mile to my car through deep snow and back home to get to my house: sometimes the same distance in mud as well! My feet have never gotten cold in these boots, and the boots still look great: VERY deep snow-proof and VERY durable! People notice them. Some people and give me compliments on them; some people think they are too "redneck" or whatever: I don't care. They are very practical outdoor boots for winter. You can walk or work in them with just one pair of socks and your feet will stay warm (I kept an extra pair of socks with me, but never needed them). The only thing these boots WILL NOT do is walk through puddles deeper than the toe. Water WILL seep into the boot if you do this. They are not "waders", but otherwise GREAT. A little heavy on the feet and take some getting used to, but that's good exercise for you. I rated comfort 4 instead of 5 only because the boots are heavy and this is a good advantage otherwise.  It's a relief to buy a quality product that holds its value and isn't junk.  Actually they are three season boots (late Fall and early Spring as well as Winter. Local (Michigan) sports stores don't carry them in this height, so I bought them on line. I'd get another pair any day, except I don't need to. The pair I have will be good for one or two more winters, at least. Best boots I ever owned.
