Rated 5 out of 5 by from The last boots I'll ever own I recently purchased these boots at the camp I'm on in the middle east and I have to say, they're the best pair of boots I've ever owned. Break-in period is about a week, but what pair of good, reliable boots doesn't need broken in? These will protect you in all environments and are well worth the money spent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from durable and comfortable! I've used these boots through the last part of osut and airborne school and plan on using them in rasp. They are comfortable and the weight is distributed evenly which makes it easier to run in with a ruck. They have amazing ankle support and feel like you walk on clouds. Its nearly impossible to roll your ankle in these which made for good airborne plfs and good ruck marches. Can't say enough good things about these boots. They also took almost no time at all to break in.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lacks quality for price Loved this boot. Have gotten many compliments..however once they see the sole..eyebrows raise. The soles (heels) wore out within 8 months. Holes in the heels prevent me from wearing them in bad weather. I work on my feet 12 hrs a day, 15 days a month on asphalt and tile floors. Thought they would have held up better. I wear them because I can't bring myself to throw away a $200 boot. Perhaps in different terrain they will hold up.??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never roll your ankle After going through sever other boots, to include Name brand and fairly expensive ones, I finally broke down and paid the premium for these. I will say now that I would have paid more. I wear 13 Wides and have always had problems finding comfortable boots. Never had to break them in. These boots feel like running shoes in regards to comfort. I haven't been able to roll an ankle even when I, and I tried. I wore them through deployment, I wore them through training, I swam in them, I did everything to these boots and they are still as comfortable as if they brand new. I wash them in the washing machine with bleach once a month, well over 20 washes so far. They come out smelling new and fresh, and feel comfortable as heck. After almost 3 years of use, the only thing that has happened is the soles are a bit worn. Best boots/shoes I have ever owned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Amazing boot. I have two pairs. One in tan and one in olive green. Most comfortable boot I've worn. I will continue to purchase them as long as a need a militarty boot. Warm/cool, my feet stay dry. Great grip on all surfaces. Great stability on rocks and such. Only one change I would make...The Wicking dri-lex layer on the tongue needs more coverage. The edges of the material come out in the lace area making the boot look wrong and potentially allowing water to soak into that area. I hope they never discontinue this boot

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Durability 3 months old and S2V are unserviceable due to an abrasion in the outside leather (near heel vents) as a result of descending on a rope which occurred in the first week. At $200 per pair S2V is not worth the price to pay for a boot that lacks durability. Previously I've owned multiple pairs of the following boots Garmont T8s, Rocky Gortex, Belleville 390s, and Nike SFB; none were rendered unserviceable under similar conditions and all cost on average $50 less.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fell apart within 2 weeks In the military and got them issued before my deployment. with 2 weeks of stepping foot in my deployed location they ripped across the toe line. They ripped all the way through to where my socks show through the hole. Although I did not buy them I feel that for a $200+ pair of boots they should be a little more durable than that! I am a little upset because they were so comfortable but the quality just wasnt that good. Maybe it was just a defective pair but I am not happy with them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from comfy I bought these about a year ago and they still are comfortable. The one problem I have and its a big problem is the longevity of the sole. Within the year my sole wore out to the point of showing its black inner sole and collecting rocks. With all the facing movements the military makes us do, I wish they would sell a replacement sole for them or something.
