Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Boot I've had these boots for about 18 months now. They are comfortable and keep my feet dry. I need to get another pair but still unsure if I want to go with these Rocky's or not. The sole is warn off on them and for as much that is paid for them I just think they should last a little longer. They been squeaking for a few months too but I've just been dealing with it because only one does it. I would recommend though for any temp other than the desert climates. Would have to go with the tennis shoe brand on that one because they breath very well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent out of box, long range comfort Just finished over 200 mi of mountain trail backpacking with them. Felt great right out of the box. Exposed to everything from alpine scrambles and bouldering to slogging swamps. Excellent support, traction, wet weight and foot comfort. Only negative is arch protection against sharp sticks and rocks could be improved. Lived in them 12 to 16 hrs a day. Made me a believer in walk dry vs "waterproof" for temperate conditions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable boot but doesn't last long I bought these because my family has had great results from Rocky's hunting boots. I've had these boots for a little over a year, they have been one of the most comfortable i've worn over the years. I recently wore these boots during the annual DANCON 25K (a weighted ruck) in Bahrain. They kept my feet breathing, held them together and I one had one tiny blister at the finish. The down side to these boots is that the sole wears down fast - i'm talking flat spots in about 8 months fast. I've also has some of the wire mesh used for the vents come loose from it's seem and cut a hole in the side...cosmetic really, but i couldn't wear them around the CO without being told to get a new pair. I would recommend these boots if you want a good lightweight/comfortable boot, and don't mind the price. Just don't expect to get the same years of wear as the Rocky hunting boots.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Stitching Throughout The stitching near where you lace the boots up is coming apart after only one month of wear. Both, left and right boots have similar poor stitching. This was my firts pair of Rocky Boots. Bummer. I will have to take them to the shoe repair shop and see if they can do what should have been done in the first place - i.e. properly stitching the boot together. Poor workmanship.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Boot, but Bad Eyelets I've had multiple pairs of S2Vs and issued many more in our unit. They repeatedly have problems with eyelets coming loose, or more commonly, the crimping under the eyelet splits and then it starts cutting boot laces. One pair of boots cut four different laces before I quit wearing them and bought another brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They fit Right as soon as it put them on I've had them 1 Day---And do you know how some boots got to be broken in for a week--As soon as I put them on I knew they fit and they weren't going to need to be broken in for a week or 2 with sore feet---- Great boot so far

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit and comfort I had my eyes on a new pair of lighter weight but yet still fully supportive boots for a long time. I finally decided on Rocky S2V's and couldn't be happier about the solis support yet light weight. Highly recommend!
