These Rocky 8” Basics Boots (#5066) are ready to report for duty. While they are intended to be a duty boot, you still get all of the comfort and great features that come along with a regular Rocky boot.

These Berry Compliant (made in the USA) boots will make you look like a sharped dress man while you are on duty. The appearance is polished yet dashing. You’ll find that the look of these boots will complement your uniform nicely. The upper is made from genuine full-grain leather. The black leather on the #5066 upper is both water resistant and polishable.

During the winter months, keeping warm is always a priority. These duty boots are equipped with 400 grams of 3M Thinsulate Ultra™. Your feet will be protected and cozy because of this. Another positive, is that this insulation does not add weight or bulk to your boot, so you will receive all of the benefits but not have it interfere with the fit or comfort level.

The topline (collar) is padded with foam for comfort. This is a nice feature because it prevents the top of your boot from digging into your leg.

One detail to emphasize about these Rocky Basics duty boots is that they are built with genuine, stitched, Goodyear Welt Construction that includes a storm welt. This is an exceptional quality to have in your boots, because it will give your boots superior strength and will aid in enhancing shape retention. Also, the storm welt obstructs water from drenching your boots, so you will not have to walk around with wet feet.

A Terra Suspension footbed is incorporated into the duty boot, to give your feet ongoing comfort. However, we didn’t stop there. This #5066 Basics boot features an AEGIS Microbe Shield on the footbed. With this feature, your feet (and toes) are continuously going to be protected from mildew, mold, and fungus. This will also help your feet from releasing off-putting smells.

The PU outsole finishes up the list of features about the #5066 boot. It is sturdy, lightweight, oil-resistant, and presents a self-cleaning lug tread.
