FIRST TOP FUEL TROPHY FOR KALITTA OF THE 2010 NHRA FULL THROTTLE DRAG RACING SERIES
Sunday afternoon outside Denver was the location for the second winner circle event of the weekend involving Rocky Brands. Doug Kalitta, driving for Rocky, clenched his first win of the season. “When I saw the win light come on down there it was real special, a great relief,” said Kalitta. The 8,000-horsepower, nitro-fueled Kalitta Air Top Fuel dragster won its first Top Fuel title trophy of the 2010 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series.
